- My experience with the Pulse Explore Earbuds was not as seamless as I thought it would be. As I have been awaiting gaming earbuds for both my PS5 and Playstation Portal, the unboxing and setup for me was quite cumbersome.
Hopefully, If you purchased these, you had a better experience than I did!

You're pressing the settings button wrong. You need to swipe down diagonally from the top right corner
Yeah you shoulda did your research before making a review my guy.
I bought these and they're shit.
First, the packaging was so footery to open I ended up ripping it up to unbox.
Second, even on my ps5 the earbuds disconnect frequently.
Third, they won't connect over Bluetooth to any of my android phones.

There is also a button on the buds themselves to reconnect to devices btw
Yea, played around with them more and found I had to press it quite often
Swipe from the edge of the screen where settings icon is and that's how you access the menu (it was explained in the onboarding video for the device)

Also, you don't tap the top corner to pull up the settings, you slide diagonally to the middle from the top corner.
After, this last update its been working with both swipe and tap. I wonder what the threshold is with the touch area to trigger it

Bro you didn’t look like a tech guy you just needed to press the link button on ear buds lmao and ear tips improve bass too so mess with ear buds your bad experience is as on you not the headphones not being rude just letting you know
I feel ya. tbh, the bass wasn't the prob, it was a volume issue on one game. In regards to the link button. I pressed them on the buds where sometimes it wouldn't connect. After this past update, I didn't have any issues

I had to return mine. They kept on disconnecting and the sound was good but not great. At least not for $200 dollars
I heard the inzone buds are better
I guess I was expecting more. The feel of them didn't sit right for me

I think they worth $200 because you paying for the AI noise cancellation, lossless audio for gaming, ear buds for PS5 and PS Portal, able to listen to two devices at once with it having PS link button on both PS Pulse Explorers buds, and planar magnetic drivers which are for the top line headphones
Changing the eartips relieved the pressure around my ear. Also try the omni spintfit eartips more comfortable

The Airpods Max work with the Lightning to 3.5mm Audio cable ($35 one). Just turn up the volume with the digital crown. My guess is the dongle just doesn't work that way.

They won’t connect when they’re in the case you have to take them out then they automatically connects to your device.

You were not hitting the link button on the portal. The instructions literally tells you to do that lol

yeah thes happened to me. you need to restart your Portal and that's fix it.

haven't really noticed a difference. granted I play with headphones
Buy a Bluetooth dongle and use the ones you already have! Not worth $200 in my opinion

They probably didn't want to make separate games for a console since it already takes forever to get games on current gen 😵💫 But I agree
Awesome 👏🏽 video bro 😎 nice cool review, yeah it did take long for me at first to connect but it’s solid now, make sure your PlayStation Portal is on the latest software for smoother performance & faster connectivity for the earbuds once connected they always connect quick, but there should be an update for the earbuds maybe this week!
