"Sentences are relics of the past." Great line. Sadly, it applies to a number of people I'm acquainted with even when they're not under the influence of anything.
I had Guns and Roses play a concert in my head one time I was so stoned. If you guys start a gofund me to go to Amsterdam, I'm sure there would be a lot of us pitching in for that!!
Six to Seven here. It gets weird. Either way the stuff just gives me panic attacks these days as far as I know. I have not touched it in over a decade.

Or make a trip to America for a weed friendly visit. 19 states are now recreational weed legal. With Canada now legal too, you can drive from Nome, Alaska to the Mexican border and get legal weed the whole way.
It's been legal here in canada for a few years now and unlike in the u.s. it's actually FULLY legal not just on a provincial or in ur guys case a state level. I really don't get why they did it that way in the u.s. cuz it would be like me saying to someone here u can have this kit Kat bar and letting them take it and then beating the shit outta them after they take it. It doesn't make any sense🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️hahaha. We also here in British Columbia canada just recently within the last couple months made(in certain amounts)other recreational drugs legal as well, as an experiment to see what will happen. In Portugal I believe all drugs are fully legal(for anyone actually from Portugal please correct me if I'm wrong)and as a result the crime rate there has dropped exponentially.
@@Antiguan2222 It's like that for a weird yet interesting reason. Back in ye olden days we didn't want the national government to completely overpower the power and rights of the states because each state acted as their own country at the time (hence the name "United" States) and in some capacity they still do so today. At the time each state official feared that the idea of a central government would lead to states having no power so the get them to sign onto what is our current government we had to make compromises this is the result of that compromise. You see laws created by national government will either be incorporated into states as a whole (By supreme court ruling or 2/3 vote from state officials), individually (States accepting it one by one then eventually voting), or not at all (States can straight up ignore them unless told to accept them by the Supreme Court). It acts as a check an balance between the state and national governments so one doesn't over power the other because of that at all times our government is a balance of state and national power that sometimes tips in favor of one or the other. For example a state law can sometimes overwrite national law and at other times national law can overwrite state law and sometimes compromises are made like legalized weed but it's only for medical reasons etc.
@@LegosR4Adlts ok I get that, but here in canada each of our provinces and territories have their own separate laws too like in the states and like in the states in certain provinces you pay more tax and in others you pay only one tax like in Alberta. As a whole there are many laws that are universal and apply to all provinces and territories, just like in the states and you would think that since this is the 21st century now and not 1776 that things there would change and improve, but I've noticed that people and also the government there in the u.s. are VERY VERY stubborn when it comes to certain things like gun control and drug laws. Instead of improving them and making exceptions both to help all the citizens of the u.s. stay safe but also to reduce the overwhelming number of inmates who are in prison for doing basically nothing compared to other inmates and taking up cells for no real logical reason doesn't make alot of sense but I've long since given up trying to make sense of they way alot of people think there cuz it's waaay to frustrating!
Federally, it's pretty cut and dried why marijuana is still listed as a Schedule 1 drug, alongside heroin and LSD. Big Pharma spends millions every year (over $260 million in 2021) lobbying Congress to keep marijuana illegal, and not capping the amount they can profit from the drugs they make. The United States and New Zealand are the only countries where drug makers are allowed to market prescription drugs directly to consumers, and they advertise them a LOT here in the U.S. They don't want a couple of cheap puffs of weed to cut into their action. Many states can change their laws with propositions (items put on the ballot by collecting enough signatures to put it there). Big Pharma has spent millions trying to defeat those measures in individual states too, but they aren't just handing cash to the public, like they do to Congress. They just spend the money on advertisements against the measures. It hasn't worked in 19 states so far.
@@Antiguan2222 When I learned of this I had the same thought. Why the fuck are we living to ideals created when the biggest problem was, "Oh shit the weevils are back." And the people aren't stubborn to change it's the fact that the majority of people who actually vote and are into politics are older people who are stubborn and the younger people rarely vote, so it appears that way. So we get the same shit election year after election year. Our government is also designed to work slowly, even the smallest change takes years. Maybe even decades. Big changes though have fun with that you'll need decades of small changes to enact that vision. It's frustrating to most non-politicians and political types (if they don't get their way at least). But unfortunately most people here are just trying to survive they don't have time in their life for this especially when one missed paycheck is enough to send you below the poverty line.
Larry Miller did a bit called the 6 levels of being drunk, very different but made me remember and i am going to watch it again now. Very funny bit. This was very funny as well as I sit here in Colorado trying to achieve all 7 right now.
@@magnusvinter9887 Nah it is just passing out on the sidewalk with a bottle in hand and then waking up in an ambulance because someone called one. Just because it was below zero does not mean I could not sleep for a few hours, I am still pissed about that bill.
oH YEAH. thats right. I had a buddy. He got so stoned he walked by a mirror and got sstuck. He didn't know which one was the real him. He said for like an hour he just kept looking in the mirror and asking who is the real me. You or me. And because he kept talking to his refection. he kept answeriing himself.
'Get up and realize I'm drunk' That's strictly physical. I know too well about the difference. You don't always notice what the mental is doing. It's round the clock working, and we only percieve it to a degree. There is no end to what the mind is capable of, no? When playing with mind altering substances, alcohol in heavy doses can be very mind altering. In my experience, it is significantly worse whilst losing that substance in your body's chemistry. Too many nights of trying to sleep after drinking heavily and I can't sleep because the brain is still active, yet the body is tired. My eyes will close but the thoughts and the images still exist. It's as if you're dreaming, but you're not. You're just awake and stirring.
being high also depends on the strain. For expam;e. I'm high right now. But not stoned. Baked, nah. What they didn't mention is the head change. That's when you get that first bell ringing in your head, and you are just like Whoa... It doesn't knock you off your arse. But it gives you that first indication of the happiness to come. being high is great. Smoking some Ya Ya.. as I call it is great. Its good for the universe.
Not for me lol. I mean I like alcohol occasionally, but it often makes me so depressed, whereas weed makes me happy and more curious. Not to mention the lack of hangovers
Yeah, a really good Indica can give you couch lock for sure, not to mention concentrates or edibles. Sativa strains don't seem to do that. In states where it's legal, like here in California, scientists have been hard at work. We've now got flowers (not concentrates) with over 30% THC.
