That’s the real genius of bill in this video. He somehow finds a way to summarise hundreds of years of history in entire regions of the world in like 4 or 5 words sometimes, but without compromising the essential truth and important part of the story. It’s SO good

We were talking about evolution and on one of our tests, it asked what types of creatures came about in the Cambrian Explosion. I, who have watched "The Entire History of the Entirety of the World I Guess" several times, immediately remembered the line "That's the Cambrian Explosion. Wow, that's animals and stuff." I just smiled and marked animals down on my answer sheet. I got it right! There were other instances of that sort of thing too, but that is the one I remember. I think that my favorite part of this video, even beyond being a jumping off point for deeper topics, is how it helps show how some events are interconnected. You may know about the 7 year war, the American Revolution, and the French Revolution, but normally you study them each as kind of an independent event. Seeing 'France and England fought, so England was broke and started taxing america heavily. America revolted but France helped and now they are broke too, so their people revolted' all in a smooth flow helps bring those events together in your mind.
And he has one other video like this on his channel, a complete history of Japan.

It Amazes me that the British people were not taught that Americans are European primarily English descendant. We are Europe’s’ outcast of that time. American’s left England and Europe because of it’s political, social, and religious stands. The whole revulsion and battle for Independence was about England trying to control us as if we still belonged to them. All Americans know this and it amazes me that British people don’t. That's why Washington who was a British Genral. along with many others decided to use their skills to protect their new home from England.

The amount of time that's covered in this video is astounding, especially in the beginning. Obviously they slow down once they get to recorded history, but even then our lives are covered in less than one syllable.
Here's a question: there's a big thing going on about how Americans of european descent should feel guilty about their ancestors actions especially as it relates to slavery and the destruction of native american cultures. Do you feel there a similar sentiment toward the British (specifically white people) due to their conquests of various civilizations throughout history?

I love this video except it's from an American centric point of view when it talks about racism and conquering land slavery and slaughtering people because all throughout the video empires are taking over one another borders are changing in in each of those historical incidents people are slaughtered people are enslaved but he only mentions that when it comes to North American North American natives and of course slavery in the US even though slavery's historical nearly every culture has been enslaved at one time or another throughout history

I like that you guys picked up on the pattern of it all. That's one thing I noticed about watching the history of the world like this, is the rise and fall of empires, countries, etc. It's a constant flow throughout history. There have been periods where the world was fairly static, but pretty short lived relatively speaking. A few generations at most. Beyond that, I agree the production of this video was amazing. They manage to give you basically the entire history of the world in 20 minutes, and make it entertaining enough to watch.
