Three of you missed that detail that the interviewee is actually a biological female that has publicly self identified as a male, thus "he" refuses to be labeled gay, etc. by the interviewer as it is normal for a "male" to have a girlfriend. But the interviewer still sees "him" as a female and thus concludes that she must be gay, lesbian, trans, etc.
