- This is a 30 minute vinyasa flow, part 8 of the full body series of classes designed to strengthen. lengthen and tone your whole body.
An intermediate, compact flow for those times when you just want to flow and move with your breath. Class moves at a brisker pace without feeling rushed. Shorter holds and less detailed alignment cues and enough challenge to keep you focused. A rejuvenating class targeting the hips, spine and shoulders.
For practice, you may wish to have a block and a blanket for support.

Great practice, dear Fiona. I have to do it again when I am a little bit more balanced. At the moment I am overwhelmed and stressed out and this is reflected in my balancing poses. I can't even do a simple tree anymore. Need to keep the foot on the flloor ... after practicing for more than 30 years this is very frustrating. But it is what is is and will certainly change again. And then, I'll do this flow again 😀 You are the best!

Returning already to this wonderful speed lesson, my wife chose it, she rather likes to go highgear😊 - thank you very much indeed, dear Fiona, it was perfect, & very concise re the inner differentiation's relations you pointed out to us, e.g. low ribs to pelvis points - clare et distincte really! ❤️🙏🏻 (I just added on, seamlessly, Peacock,HumbleFlamingo & Headstand, & my wife remarked at Shavasana's end then: "Well, not too hard today, was it?", smiling, as I was rather in mode "fire breath"...😅)

It was a wonderful as always. Do you have any particular posture or flow for a head cold. Forgotten how a constant drippy nose is. Thankfully it is not Covid!
Arh, sorry to hear you’ve got a head cold Esther. Usually, at the very beginning of a cold, I find forward folds (head below the heart) helpful. Restorative practices that don’t require too much energy are also supportive. I also saved this article a while ago as the breathing technique and explanation did wonders when I’ve had colds myself. Hi Fiona, would you be able to do a series without any forward folds ? I really like to follow your videos but because of a medical condition, I am avoiding downward dog and forward bends. Or do you have any suggestions for good alternatives to downward dog.
Hi Nancy, sorry to hear you’re facing some challenges at the moment. Having trawled through the classes, even the wrist free ones, I found just 2 without folds and dog! Both very restorative:

Its a very niche series request. Here are some modifications & suggestions you might like to try. In a flow class, All 4’s, tabletop or child’s pose or hold plank to replace dog.
From standing at top of mat, instead of folding and taking vinyasa, you could take a standing lateral stretch, chair, chair twist and then step to the standing pose from the top of your mat when we step from dog.
The wrist free classes are probably the easiest to weave these changes in. From mellow to strongest… here are the links
