Hi Ethan, Back in 2016 I rented a class C RV through Cruise America and noticed the bigger sites actually sell off their ex rental RV's but, before they sell them, they fully refurb the interiors (so they are like new), and of course the vehicles have all been well maintained. Might be a cheaper way of getting a better camper!! Loving the video's by the way, keep up the good work and all the best to you and Austin. Take care xx

This is the best time of the year to find a good deal on an RV. You might want to trade the truck on a C-class motorhome of some kind, with bigger water/waste tanks, more roof space for solar, bigger batteries, a larger propane tank, a comfortable bed mattress, and a real refrigerator/freezer, and use Austin’s truck for the harder to reach spots with lumpy dirt and stone roads that are really rough on large heavy truck campers sitting high on 4-wheel drive trucks.
I agree they need something way bigger than a camper. A nice 35 footer with a couple slide outs. No off roading with that type of rig. You only live once. Used to own a 1976 Titan 35 footer with two tip outs. Awesome trailer.
I hope you get a tow camper. It might be a little harder to drive but you definitely have the truck for it. Plus you can disconnect the truck anytime from it if you need to go get groceries. And I’m so happy you and Austin are back together.

❤❤❤ glad you guys were able to sort things out. Look into diesel heaters, I bought 2 Vevor diesel heaters. One for van/rv installation and one portable version. Vevor has a big sale going on. I bought both for under 200.00. But I have my 5th wheel and my gooseneck enclosed racecar trailer thus the reason for buying two. The second one that I bought is the separated unit with a 10 liter fuel cell. These things sip fuel. I bought 2 8k versions. You could get by with a 2k on Austin's truck. They now have much quieter fuel pumps plus a Bluetooth thermostat controller. You can operate it via the controller, the included fob remote, or via the app on your phone. It will turn on and off as needed just like a home furnace. I had one in my Kenworth sleeper it was a game changer. Kept me toasty in sub zero weather. I hope the two of you can find something larger that works for guys. Im going diesel because propane is so expensive to heat with. By buying farm diesel you don't the extra road use tax thats in the price of it when fuel your truck. The fact that these heaters will run over 24 hours on one gallon of diesel is far cheaper than propane. 😮 Happy trails, Gary.
I must have not been paying attention to the “clues” in the background before Ethan went on his date night, because I had no clue it was going to be Austin. When he went into the restaurant, and I saw Austin, I said “Oh my God! Yes! It’s Austin“. Someone in my house came into the family room and asked what was going on. 😂 They don’t watch the videos, so they didn’t know what I was so happy about.

I am going through the pictures of the 4 different boats I have owned over the years. The $10k first boat I had was similar to this camper and every time I look back at the pics I think of the fond memories and kick myself in the butt for selling it for similar frustrations. Foot-itus is what they call the upgrading in boats, I think it's GVWR-itus in campers! Enjoy the memories and charge forward!

Hi, Ethan. When you're shopping for a new RV, you might want to look at motor homes instead of campers. Motor homes (complete vehicles as opposed to something that attaches to a truck) tend to be roomier and nicer than campers. Also, please look for one with adequate propane storage so you don't run out every few days. When you get a decent-sized propane tank, you can use a built-in, propane-fueled refrigerator. I know that sounds ironic, but they work very well, and they are silent. Also check into getting a motor home that has a gasoline-powered generator that is made for RVs. Those often run at 1800 RPM instead of 3600 RPM, so they are considerably quieter than the portable generators that you find at home improvement warehouse stores. You don't have to get anything that's like a tour bus, but since you said you want something larger than the truck camper, I think a small motor home is the way to go!
When being tailgated, just slow down and/or pull over. Videos ago, you were driving some sort of motor home. That would be my choice. Congrats to you and Austin.

Proper locking hardware should have been installed by the manufacturer in the first place. They build these things as cheaply as possible.
