You've had a tough couple of weeks. One thing is certain is life will change, hopefully for the better. Seeing Peaches with her red sweater and her kong toys tell me she's happy in your company. Good luck!
I’m 73 and I remember being in a similar situation when I was younger (around your age). Every time I see one of your videos I feel like I’m seeing my younger self. I never felt brave then but seeing you now makes me realize how very brave and bold you are and I guess that makes me so as well. Your adventures continue to inspire me the journey goes on for all of us. Some more than others. Keep up the faith, Ethan. Follow your instincts and keep on believing. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I know plenty of other great people who follow you are as well. Take good care.
60yo and thinking the same, watching this young man going through this reminds me of the times a pleasant, carefree day in camp would turn unexpectedly into an hours long cascade of minor miseries leaving me exhausted, cold, wet, and hungry, on occasion even in real jeopardy. I learned from each and prepped better afterwards, but Mother Nature is a jokester you can never fully prepare for! It's these moments I look back on the fondest, the times I was tested and passed, if just barely! Ethan is in the thick of it, he'll be fine I know, he has common sense and an adventurous heart. I wish him the best, pray he stays safe, and hope the memories he's making are grand and many, and like us, he lives plenty long enough to enjoy them far into the future.
Your resilience in all these unforeseeable storms is really impressive. I didn’t have your maturity, your courage or the will to do half the stuff you’ve achieved and gone through at this age. You will look back at this time and cherish the memories, lessons and experiences
I've spent a lot of time on roads like that, or worse. The unexpected is to be expected. You should get a few things: 1. A truck with 4WD that you can turn on and off without getting out of the truck 2. A winch for pulling yourself out of holes (tree not included) 3. A gas powered generator 3. Clothes (especially boots) that are just for shitty weather 4. A tarp or 3 that you can put over you and your camp to direct the rain away from you (as well as some poles or whatever to hold the tarp off the ground) 5. Some of those handwarmer packets to shove down into the sheets/your boots/wherever to keep you warm when the camper is acting bitchy 5. (optional but recommended) A traveling companion - platonic preferred - lovers just add complexity Stay safe and keep having fun :) If it ain't fun, it ain't worth it. Love you and your videos, we are all here for you buddy

Your self control is so impressive. A tough situation and you solve it under huge pressure whilst filming and commentating - just to add to your pressure. Respect!
Ethan, PROUD of you for handling that situation as you did! 👍 I know you are already way past here now, but I'm in Springfield Missouri area, and would have been happy to help you fix your roof cap and window leak on your way through. You ever get back this way and need anything else, we have a used camper parts place in the area, and I'm always willing to help you anyway I can. 😊 I've repaired and rebuilt campers in the past and currently building my ambulance camper, plus owned a diesel repair shop and specialized in Ford power strokes for 18 years. So I know a few things and am always willing to help. Stay safe on the road and take care of yourself and Peaches. ❤
Thank goodness you have Peachy on your side... having a pet that you love they love you back is one of life's best consolations when things go to hell in a handbag...take care!!!❤
As the mother of two adult sons, I was so stressed out from the beginning of this video, but especially when you were stuck in the mud. Oh my gosh! You should be very proud of yourself for dealing with that on your own. Great job. Stay safe out there!
Ethan, I'm guessing that you accidentally pressed a button and changed the setpoint on your battery monitor -- you accidentally zero'd out the battery ammetter so you have an offset.. disconnect your solar panels, disconnect your inverter, and then read the manual of the battery monitor on how to "zero out the current".. follow that procedure, and then re-connect your inverter and solar panels..
im not sure about that. wouldn't he have had to have had been making negative amps when he zeroed it for the reading to increase? i mean sure its possible if you reverse the battery direction, then zero it, then switch them back, but thats not something you just do accidentally. id be looking for broken wires. current splits at each branch of a circuit, so for it to increase, it is possible some wire broke and changed how much current the ammeter - and possibly other devices - receive, which could be a problem if he doesn't have many spare fuses in case something breaks.
@@lightningbmw2309 what if he accidentally zero'd it when he was using a large draw device? say he had his furnace on, drawing about 20 amps and he zero'd it.. then when the furnace is off the unit would think it was charging at 20 amps...
@@anorman67 if he zeroed it at 20 amps, the ammeter would then compare all measurements to 20 instead of zero. for example, if 0 is set to 0, then when a measurement is 10 amps, 10 - 0 = 10, so it reads 10. if 0 is set to 20, then it would actually read -10, because 10-20=-10. to get a constant positive offset, he would have had to zero it at a negative number, because when you subtract by a negative, the value increases.
@@lightningbmw2309 that is NOT how it works.. the ammeter detects current passing thru it's shunt (or magnetic field in a clamp on ammeter).. the ammeter itself has no idea what that current represents.. it just is a quantity of something.. you need to calibrate it so it knows what the absolute value (quantity) the sensor is reading is converted correctly into the "current" in Amps.. With no current flowing -- I.E. connect the battery to the ammeter, but disconnect the solar panels and the inverter so no current is flowing (positive or negative) and set that to 0 the sensor is now properly calibrated to read 0 when in fact there is no current (aside from the few milliamps being used by the ammeter itself) flowing. Now, let's say instead you 'zero' the meter with a 20 amp draw (the furnace for example) on it.. if the ammeter was properly zero'd the ammeter would read -20 when the furnace is on, indicating a 20 amp draw.. Instead, you zero out that negative 20 so when the draw is 20 amps, the ammeter reads 0. When you remove that 20 amp draw (turn off the furnace) the ammeter would see a positive increase of 20 amps -- it was reading zero (improperly) now it will read +20 as that is the offset that was put into the ammeter incorrectly.. If you have an ammeter try it yourself.. turn something on that draws power then zero out the meter and then turn it off and see what the ammeter says once you turn it off.. It will read + whatever that draw was that you zero'd out when it was running.
@@lightningbmw2309 the best way to visualize how it actually works is to picture a number line like we used in grade school.. at the top put 100, in the middle put 0 and at the bottom put -100 when the furnace is on, the number line goes down 20.. when the furnace is off it goes up 20.. If the zero is correct, you would see -20 when on, 0 when off.. if you zero'd it when the furnace was on, you would see 0 when it was on, and it would go up 20 when you turn it off, or +20
Ethan I hope you are being safe out there. First off I am a retired United States Marine Corps Master gunny sergeant. I was in the first Recon unit out of Camp Lejeune North Carolina Expedition forces. Now I'm not bragging but I am a full train survivalist. Ethan, I’m 73 years old. I was 11, when I had my first almost drowning. My first aircraft engine failure at 21, my second brake failure on a landing at 22. Kidnapped to Jamaica at 23…held for ransom. So much more. At your age, life has its risks. I’m a life full of junkie risks. Retirement SUCKS.
WOW Ethan that was quite an experience that you went through. You are like an Army of one, always handling these experiences so well. Stay Safe and Keep on Truckin👍🙂
You SHOULD be really proud of yourself. You held it together, logically and methodically thought your way out all the while trying to keep calm. You did good !!! WTG.
Adulting comes with experience. You’re doing just fine. You really have no idea of how much you are growing and learning. But, it’s all right here on your delightful videos.
Hang in there. Dont doubt yourself. I feel inspired after watching your vids and how you deal with your challenges. Im thinking you have a very positive effect on your audience. I admire how you are currently living your life and i suspect that although it presents some tough days you'll look back on this time in your life with respect and fondness. Hope you're feeling ok after the breakup. You're a good guy. Anyone will be lucky to find you. Peace and good wishes!
I love the sound of the rain on the roof when its all silent while your sleeping its really relaxing I think. Your jokes are so funny and your southern accent is very cute.
Live & Learn! So proud of you for figuring it out and doing the hard work to get yourself out instead of sitting there and crying out waiting for someone to come by and rescue you. You’re such a resourceful young man. I really like your creativity and positivity on your channel. And your sense of humor always makes me laugh. I always look forward to your posts. Even if not much has happened to you. Just you being yourself is entertaining. What’s up with the property you own in Colorado? Do you still own it? Is it too cold to stay there over winter? Smart of you to go south for winter. You could always head to someplace like Florida, that has lots of sunshine in the winter and is really inexpensive to live. Plus Hurricane season (June-Nov) is almost done in Florida. So now is the time to come.
If that happens again, I’d get a waterproof tarp and some Velcro strips. Attach the Velcro, one end to the tarp and one permanent on the tarp. That way it will (hopefully) prevent water from getting in from the top. Easy to attach on and off.
I will always worry about you! I will always believe in your strength and knowledge to help you navigate all of your challenges! I wish you the best Ethan! You have added so much to this community!
The silicone and rubber seals go bad on those campersas they age. I have a motorhome and I had to remove my windows and re seal them so they would stop leaking. Also if you get a chance get you a good tarp from a hardware store or harbor freight. That way if you run into a random roof leak again in a down poor you can bunji cord it over the top of the camper until the rain stops. Hang in there. ❤
Being in the situations you were, you showed you're able to figure out ways to help yourself out of those situations. Trusting yourself was your greatest lesion in my opinion.
Hi looks like the roof hatch and window need to come out and re-do the seal. Please don't use silicone, it fails after a few months. Either use sikaflex 221 or none setting window putty tape.
Okay, Ethan recently broke up with his ex-boyfriend and he got stuck in the ditch. I hope Ethan will announce a "Heracles for Ethan" contest. Candidates need to lift up vehicles out of mud, provide electrical assistance, and expert in rain tarp covers. Bonus points if you can appear in You Tube Videos. Who can stand up for this challenge?
I have experience in this type of conundrum....but it involved moving railroad passenger equipment over a shrinking rail network which was relatively quickly jettisoning any passenger "support" facilities....oh and this was just prior to the widespread adoption of cell service/internet... everywhere! Travel was usually as a pair...but often solo...just as Ethan is currently experiencing! He is learning "on the fly"...and will eventually master the "visualize/plan ahead" situational awareness which is critical to success! Go Ethan!
I have a question for you. Do you have a solar panel on that vehicle? Solar panels can still generate electricity even on dark and cloudy days. The panels absorb hues reflected from the sky, allowing them to create power. I have lived off-grid for almost 15 years and wish I could teach you some things to make your life a bit less stressful and easier. One thing for sure, you can do this. You're young and every experience is a life lesson.
Ethan, I'm so happy you are safe. It was a good idea to use rocks to help you when you were stuck. I also thought the weight of the camper helped to grip the rocks. Love Ya.
It's neither needed to show such things to anyone, nor is it needed to "act masculine" in itself .. like wtf. He was in a new stressful situation and dealt with it, it has nothing to do with being gay or masculine or proofing something to anyone or whatever, it's just life. It also would have been totally fine if he had asked someone for help.
Ethan you have more strength then I would have you have Ben threw a lot and I have to give you credit for staying so strong and positive love you bro ❤
Hi Ethan, I am proud and impressed at your resilience in dealing with such harsh conditions. However you were brilliant and so loveable. You are Magic.
Ethan, I enjoy watching your videos and your absolute honesty with your challenges and successes. The experiences you are going through now will serve you well later because you are independent and dealing with what life hands you. Keep your spirits up.

Ethan: I am glad to see you are okay. That was very stressful and trying the many challenges you face. You stood bravely and took on them all and just know things will be okay despite the challenges you have faced. You stayed calm, you did not panic and you realized what you need to do for your vehicle. You have many people out there supporting you and rooting for you. You stay focused and determined. Be proud of the challenges you made it though. Please be careful ad safe on your journey. You are at 148,000. You will reach 150,000 subscribers.
Dang. Clay mud is wretched, and you really came through extricating yourself and Peachy from that. Stay safe. 💗
You should be proud of getting out of that situation. Things will get better for you.
Given the situation you handled it with skill and patience. Well done one of your best videos, working through adversity was good to watch.
Such tenacity. Ethan conquers the world.
😂
Ethan, I’m 73 years old. I was 11, when I had my first almost drowning. My first aircraft engine failure at 21, my second brake failure on a landing at 22. Kidnapped to Jamaica at 23…held for ransom. So much more. At your age, life has its risks. I’m a life full of junkie risks. Retirement SUCKS.
Well done, my friend. You handled it with intelligence AND courage. Your journey is inspiring.❤
WOW Ethan that was quite an experience that you went through.
You are like an Army of one, always handling these experiences so well.
Stay Safe and Keep on Truckin👍🙂
I really deeply admire your resilience and ability to see the good in awful moments. That's a gift.
You SHOULD be really proud of yourself. You held it together, logically and methodically thought your way out all the while trying to keep calm. You did good !!! WTG.
Flooding like that is crazy dangerous, glad you could extricate yourself and your pup. I enjoy your channel, keep it up 👍
You made it through the mud. Sometimes we just do what we have to do, and we do it. Take care. ❤
This a formative journey, you got this, keep on keeping on.
Adulting comes with experience. You’re doing just fine. You really have no idea of how much you are growing and learning. But, it’s all right here on your delightful videos.
Dude, so proud of you for holding it together and getting out of that.
Great Job Ethan. Have faith in yourself. You can do anything.❤
Exactly! Handled it, Ethan!
I love the sound of the rain on the roof when its all silent while your sleeping its really relaxing I think. Your jokes are so funny and your southern accent is very cute.
Ethan, you are amazing. I couldn’t have done what you’re doing when I was your age. 52 now. I hope you and Peaches keep conquering the world! ❤
You are even more handsome when you're stressed, but I'm so glad you're safe. That all looked really scary. Love you lots. 💖
Ethan "does" the "wet look"...so well! Is there more of that on his OF 🤔?!?👀👍💪💐🪛🛠🔩🔧👌
@@trwaintime Does Ethan even have an OF account?😀
@JonathanRWilliams fairly certain I've heard him reference it before...iirc?

My anxiety would be the roof in all of that. Great job guy. You’ve got this
I will always worry about you! I will always believe in your strength and knowledge to help you navigate all of your challenges! I wish you the best Ethan! You have added so much to this community!
Things got back to "normal" pretty quickly.. Ethan vs. Nature. You are more dominant then you probably think.
I really like that you are smiling even when you are in such difficult situations ❤
Wow.. I just realized how bad my spelling was and how i suck at writing on here. Lmao
Love your positivity.
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"
😁🥰
You’re really brave and strong Ethan. I couldn’t imagine being stuck in the middle of nowhere for two days 😢
Great job rescuing yourself! ❤
Always keep a eye on the weather. This is not your first ball game. Be careful not to be swept away in the flash flood.
Glad you got out of that tough spot, congrats in advance at 150K subs! ❤
Being in the situations you were, you showed you're able to figure out ways to help yourself out of those situations. Trusting yourself was your greatest lesion in my opinion.
So happy you are safe
Hi looks like the roof hatch and window need to come out and re-do the seal. Please don't use silicone, it fails after a few months. Either use sikaflex 221 or none setting window putty tape.
@@JourneysByNarrowboat do you have CT1 over there? It’s a great alternative to silicone sealant
@wintersun398 Yes we do :)
Okay, Ethan recently broke up with his ex-boyfriend and he got stuck in the ditch. I hope Ethan will announce a
"Heracles for Ethan" contest. Candidates need to lift up vehicles out of mud, provide electrical assistance, and expert in rain tarp covers. Bonus points if you can appear in You Tube Videos. Who can stand up for this challenge?
Adding warmth on cold nights, a definite plus.
@@aarondesrochers5172 Peaches can probably help Ethan stay warm.
Me me me me I’m an og.
Go Ethan!
Maybe if he begs and grovels, Austin will come back.
I so wish you were my grandson! PLEASE know how awesome I think you are and your adventures are real life. God bless you Ethan!
My best wishes for you to stay safe Ethan. Take care.
One of your more stressful videos. Glad it all worked out.
Be safe Ethan ,love ya!!
You are intrepid, brave and resilient. I genuinely admire you. Take comfort in your pupper. That’s a dog’s super power.
Self-reliance is so valuable.
I cannot believe that somebody saw you stuck and did not offer to help :(
Ethan, I'm so happy you are safe. It was a good idea to use rocks to help you when you were stuck. I also thought the weight of the camper helped to grip the rocks. Love Ya.
Ethan, most seriously, this video show how masculine, how smart, and how self-reliant a young gay man can act. ETHAN IS AWESOME!!!
Weird ass comment
It's neither needed to show such things to anyone, nor is it needed to "act masculine" in itself .. like wtf. He was in a new stressful situation and dealt with it, it has nothing to do with being gay or masculine or proofing something to anyone or whatever, it's just life. It also would have been totally fine if he had asked someone for help.
@@vomm >Ehtan is breaking the stereotypes. His actions has demonstrated self-reliance.

Hi Ethan, I am proud and impressed at your resilience in dealing with such harsh conditions. However you were brilliant and so loveable. You are Magic.
Ethan says at 13:02 he could kiss the asphalt road. I suggest a "I kiss better than an asphalt road" contest. Ethan deserves better.
The tough times teach us who we are and helps to build confidence. Proud of you
Great respect for getting yourself through a really tough time!
So sorry you had a rough few days there but really glad you’re safe and continuing on your journey! 💜
You are creating memories to talk about to other campers. Your videos are entertaining.
Ethan, you are not just learning from your journey, you are inspiring and encouraging others!
Ethan, You're doing a great job. Just keep on being you and sharing for those of us who can't be traveling about.
Ethan, I enjoy watching your videos and your absolute honesty with your challenges and successes. The experiences you are going through now will serve you well later because you are independent and dealing with what life hands you. Keep your spirits up.
What an exciting chapter for "The Adventures of Ranger Ethan and Peaches." It was pretty thrilling sitting in my La -Z-boy watching my flat screen. We are glad you made it through unscathed. And we will say a prayer for your and Peach's safe travels.
You handled the situation like a Boss !!! Four wheel drive doesn't mean never getting stuck lol, but it helps as you just learned. Research it just as you do everything else.
You've had a lot stress lately but you seem to be handling things with confidence. Stay positive, stay confident, and stay safe. Things will get better. Life is good.😘
