The hairstyle definitely looks far more complicated, than it actually is. I am looking forward to seeing more Star Wars Hair!
ayame80 Yay!! I dunno why I haven't done more Star Wars sooner? I guess because there are already so many good ones out there already!
You saved my performance for drama school as Padme, as I had no clue about how to even start with this. Thanks a lot! You're very skilled and brilliant!
Just wanted to say I followed this tutorial for the headpiece to the letter and I can’t believe how amazing it turned out. This video legit saved my Padme cosplay as I have NO IDEA where I would have gotten the headpiece otherwise. Thank you so so much for this amazing breakdown. ❤️❤️❤️
I want to thank you! I was able to make my headbands based in your recommendations being my first time I had to adjust it as I wore it around because I skipped the Velcro strips but now I know better and I was able to decorate it with gems with my nephew which made it even more special, the hairstyle especially worked out beautifully with the tools you used and I wasn’t able to secure my bun but I left down with curls and it came out beautiful and I made it my own twist, thank you so again as a first time this made such a daunting task so much fun to recreate 💕
Protip from my brother in law: when working with fabric, hot glue guns aren't the most effective durability-wise, because fabric does not absorb it, so it peels and you have a high risk of it unsticking. He uses cold glue when he makes headpieces similar to this, and usually they are ready to use about twenty minutes after he makes them and last really well, he made me one in early december last year, and after many uses it's still good as new.
Padme is my favorite character in Star Wars so anything with her I love.
Kaitlin Lewis Yay!!! I've got one more filmed that I'm editing and there's a few others that I've got my eye on!! 😜
SWEET!
thank you for showing both the headdress and the hairstyle. My sister and I are going as Padme and Anakin to a con and my hair is short and blonde, so she is going to style a wig of hers using a headpiece I’ll make. Having one tutorial we can go off of makes this wayyyyyy easier
This is so cool thank you for making this. My friends and I are doing a Star Wars group cosplay. And since my friend claimed Leia I was like “you know what I’ll do padame” she asked me which version I instantly said “attack of the clones, in her lake dress.” I’ve never seen people cosplaying her like that in my area. Just the geonosis arena or one of her senator outfits. Saw one add the nexu scratch but still never the lake dress so I really love this video how it not only goes into how to make the headbands but how to style the hair.
This is incredible! This hairstyle has always been an enigma to me, as with many of the Padmé styles, as they tend to be much more "fantasy" hairstyles than Leia, relying upon a variety of extensions, hairpieces, and extreme design and insertion. I think this looks incredibly screen accurate, and am amazed that you were able to figure out the headdress. I definitely would be interested in more Padmé styles, as I said, because they are much more difficult to decipher and depend much more on the use of extensions, hairpieces, etc, than many of the other Star Wars ladies. Thanks again and I hope to see more in the future!
I'm meeting Hayden in February and I am gonna try this!!!! Thank you omg
It looks gorgeous and the headband is such a clever idea - it makes the finished hairstyle look much more complicated than it is. Please do more Padmé hair tutorials :) XOXO
Catherine Morgenstern Thank you!! I've been asked to do this so much but I never thought it'd be that interesting without the headpiece. It's so simple, you know? I'm so glad you like it! I've got one more planned and then a few others I'd love to tackle!
ladollyvita333 Yay! I'm already looking forward to it and I agree, it wouldn't have been nearly as captivating without the headpiece
This was INCREDIBLE!! Thank you so much (for future reference, that is)!!!
Some more Padme styles would be brilliant, particularly some 'inspired' versions which wouldn't need as many headpieces/extensions.
I am a huge Star Wars fan and this was an amazing video! Awesome job! May the Force be with you!
YAAASSSS!!! This was my favorite Padme hairstyle. This looks so awesome! I'm just going to have to get my dance performance hairstyles from your tutorials. 🤗☺️🤗
I'm so glad I found this! I'm cosplaying Padme for a (virtual) cosplay party on Friday and I had no idea how to do her hair!
You are very good, you gave me a guide of how I can do it myself.
This is amazing - you're so creative! I wish that I was that good at arts & crafts! Do you sell any of the accessories you make?
Cute! I like the headpiece.
Oh my gosh thank you for this. Totally going to favorite this and subscribe. Planning on going as Padme to D23 this year. Thanks for an easy and amazing tutorial!
This is so useful!! I'm gonna use this for my cosplay! Thank you so much I had no idea how to do it!
Thank yooouuuuuu

Camille GILBERT Thank you so much! That means a lot!! I try to work really hard at it! So thank you, thank you!
You're welcome ! I really like your way to approach hairstyles, (and I like Star Wars ^^), it's really inspiring !
YOU are a genius!! :)
Emma MacGregor Wow! Insanely kind compliment!!! ❤
That's beautiful!!!
Thank you!! Can you tell me if the thumbnail is working?? Its little wonky on my end and I can't tell!
It's working, and it looks great.
It worked for me :)
Thanks guys!
Love it! You should definitely do more Padme styles, I was just thinking how cool all her hair is but how complicated it can be to replicate because of all the funky headdresses, and you seem like the right person to take on those things :D (although some of them are *really* funky, haha)
Superherostella Thank you!! There are a few that are SUPER funky. A couple of them involve materials I'm unable to get my hands on unfortunately, so I'm going to shoot for some of her more low key looks. 😊
Nice, I'm looking forwardo to it :D
