- Princess Leia Hair Tutorial in honor of Carrie Fisher
These are my two very favorite hairstyles that Carrie Fisher wore as Princess Leia in Star Wars. They both incorporate beautiful braids, and they're a tad more wearable than the iconic double bun look. (The crown braid is especially one of my go-tos when I'm wearing 4th day hair) I think the ceremony style is so unique and beautiful, and can totally be worn to a special event when toned down like this.

For the Second look I always just do two english braids and then I pin them to my head in a crown shape. But I might try your french braid version.

You should definitely try it! You might just want to tug at the edges of your braid to make it look thicker!

Love this but on the crown braid her hair was further back I'm her head how do I replicate that look?
Leave your front pieces a bit longer, and keep the back/middle pieces tighter if you want to do that. I just have really thick hair so I need something a little bit more evenly dispersed or I'd have too much left over lol
