The police of chief that's screaming all the time is a spoof of the same actor from 48 Hours. He also played the chief in that movie and was inexplicably always yelling at Nick Nolte.
Loved this movie. So many great actors and Arnie spoofing and making fun of himself. 😂👍

I remember I didn't like this movie when I first saw it. But after repeat viewings I started enjoying it. It's actually kinda funny 😂

There's a horror slasher comedy that's a bit like this called The Final Girls, and it's very neat. I highly recommend.

This is one of John McTiernan's underrated classics...though I know a lot of people have over time come to love this movie as much as I always did. Yeah...I am one of those weirdos who saw this in the theater because I was actually that much of a fan of both Arnie AND McTiernan. I hope she enjoys this one.😁

The film bombed at the box office, making $137 million dollars against a $75 million dollar budget. It opened up a week after JURASSIC PARK was in theaters.
I would go to Jurassic Park and tell John Hammond to fire Nedry and everything will be alright 😅

7:01 - I was about to yell at Maya about Nickelback, but then I realized I had them confused with a country-rap duo called Big & Rich. Nickelback is fine. I prefer Green Day, Radiohead, Staind, literally anyone, but I don't hate Nickelback.
Those are all Great bands too, Maya rekindle my love of Radiohead when she forced me to watch the twilight films with her, those films are dumb but damn the sound is pretty great
@mayaandgareth Teen angst makes for good musical taste, but yeah, those films are trash. To be fair, they're probably better than the books, simply by virtue of sparing us the inner monologs of Gaunt Girl and Silent Boy and Goofy Wolf... No way to know for sure.
This soundtrack did irreparable damage to my young brain! I blame it for a lot of my music taste today
