I do want to mention to Jenny - Sometimes I turn off the sound because I can't stand listening to the person in the video. That is not the case with Jenny. There is something very comforting in listening to her talk us through the making of her quilts.
I absolutely LOVE this Jenny! Thanks for the clear directions and the simple pattern! I finished reading your book! What a blessing to have this heartwarming story and to learn more about your wonderful family!
"...Magic ... because it's Halloween!" Oh Jenny, you make me giggle. You're so cheerful and friendly!! Thanks again for a fantastic video. You know, if you ever want to retire from Quilting instruction, you'd be wonderful as a narrator for children's audio books!! Thanks for being yourself, and sharing your cheery self with the rest of us on UA-cam! ~Diana from Toronto
Your tutorials are clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much. I find watching a new tutorial always gives me the urge to but more fabric. Ha ha ha. Especially, when it's Halloween related!
lol I love the spider webs! This is a cute wall hanging and I don't have much in the way of Fall décor so I may give this a try. Love your Ballet Slipper Pink nail polish!
I love it love it love it!!! Great wall hanging! Too bad I don't have the day free today or I would make one right now! Plus I can totally see this becoming a whole quilt just repeating the units! Thanks Jenny
SO cute. I only wish I could get it done in time for this. But I just added it to my project list for next year and I am looking forward to making it. Thanks Jenny and Gang!
Jenny, your quilt videos are really OUTSTANDING. Thank you, Thank you. I Love this quilt. Hope I can still get the pkg of 10 inch squares shown in this video.
that is so cute ! all the ideas ! I'm really new into quilting and am searching a witchy-gothic-halloween idea to fit my tastes, and I must admit this one is really cool ! thank you for this tutorial ! I definitely will use it !
I’m so late to this party but this is exactly what I was wanting. I’m going to make a Halloween table runner with these fun blocks for a friend. I’m just sad this fabric won’t be in the shops. So cute.
I love your choice for a Halloween quilt: so cute and fun! I’m exciting to learn this and find the cats are so wonderful instead of Scary cats! Thanks, Jenny!
This is absolutely stunning Jenny!!!!!! I wish I watched this tutorial as it came out, now it too late for me to do something.....save it for next year! Would be lovely to see more of these combined blocks quilts acting as wall hanging or table toppers. Thank you so much!!!!! Happy Halloween 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Such a cute project..I can't wait to try this..Jenny your tutorials are so clear and pleasant and easy to learn....and wish I knew where you get your sweaters!.
Love the tutorial and nice to have a quick and easy project for last minute decorating. Question for you, can you give me some information about your thread stand? Brand?Where can I find one? Is it clamped on to the table, free-standing? Thank you for the information and thank you so much for taking the time to give us a part of you!!!!
Thank you so much for your reply. I did look at the babylock website and now see that the thread stand is actually built into Jenny’s machine. Such a nice feature to have. And I did see that they have other stands that are considered accessories to my machine!!!!! Thank you again for the information!!!!!
It's great because there is no chord to trip over! It gets hot enough too, the one thing is it will cool down while you are ironing, so if you like to do all your ironing at once that may not work for you.
Hermoso estoy aprendiendo, pero fallo mucho con el pachwork aun,que lindos ver los trabajo tan perfectos y cuando veo los mio me decepciono, espero algun dia me salgan bien, te felicito eres magica
I am trying to figure out if I could get more than one of these wall hangings quilts from a layer cake. I think I might get 2? Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Thank you.
I also have the Oliso Iron. I absolutely love it too. It took a little getting used to; but, now I don't think I'll go back to any other (even my husband likes it when he irons! :) )
I'm not sure of the dimensions but here is a link to the Simple Wedge Ruler:www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/5545/msqc/-/large-simple-wedge-template-for-10-squares
Hasn’t anyone noticed that she looked so much healthier when she was overweight now she looks very unhealthy, even though she’s lost a lot of weight That’s what happened to one of my neighbors. He looks so young and he was overweight not by a whole much but then when he lost weight, he just aged.

the oranges & black made this a very fun piece! Love it!
Alternating the cats and hats would also be cute.

I'm a fan of pieced quilt backs and this would be great on the back of my Halloween quilt I'm working on!

Outstanding, I love it!
I’m so late to this party but this is exactly what I was wanting. I’m going to make a Halloween table runner with these fun blocks for a friend. I’m just sad this fabric won’t be in the shops. So cute.
Cute cute!
I love your choice for a Halloween quilt: so cute and fun! I’m exciting to learn this and find the cats are so wonderful instead of Scary cats!

I like it, mayby you can show more quilts which have few diffrent blocks (not only one)
Thanks for your suggestion, we'll keep that in mind!
Great questions! The thread stand in the tutorial came with Jenny's machine, the BabyLock Jane.
Thank you so much for your reply. I did look at the babylock website and now see that the thread stand is actually built into Jenny’s machine. Such a nice feature to have. And I did see that they have other stands that are considered accessories to my machine!!!!! Thank you again for the information!!!!!
Actually, I like the scrap one the most. I think it's because of the colors that were chosen.
Sometimes, scraps are definitely best! :)
Jenny, I love this one! Do you like the rechargeable iron? Does it get really hot?
I'm curious about that iron, too!
It's great because there is no chord to trip over! It gets hot enough too, the one thing is it will cool down while you are ironing, so if you like to do all your ironing at once that may not work for you.
Not sure about border size the pattern page won't work! Which is to say I can't download the pdf page 😢
BoOo!
love it LOL
What sewing machine is Jenny using? It's so fast!
Hi sdg921! Jenny is using the Baby Lock Jane and loves it. :)
I am trying to figure out if I could get more than one of these wall hangings quilts from a layer cake. I think I might get 2? Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Thank you.
Was the spider web quilting done with the back side up?
Cute quilt. I see Jenny is using a different iron. Why?
I agree! Can’t wait to get one of the other irons.
She is just trying something new out. She loves her Oliso Iron but wanted to see what the Panasonic 360 Freestyle was like. :)
I also have the Oliso Iron. I absolutely love it too. It took a little getting used to; but, now I don't think I'll go back to any other (even my husband likes it when he irons! :) )
am a little disappointed that you didn't come out with the 1st of oct. i do plan to make but for next year
Thank you for feedback. I will share this with the team for future reference!
‘Boo’tiful!
I’m not a fan of wall hangings or lap quilts. I wonder how I could expand this to a twin size.
Link to the cat video please?
How do you cut your thread
Does anyone happen to know the angle on the hat if you don't have the triangle ruler? I guess it doesn't matter as long as they all match?
Here is a link to that ruler: www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/5545/msqc/-/large-simple-wedge-template-for-10-squares
Going off napkin math from dimensions shown in the video, 68-70° at the base points and 40-44° at the center will get you close.
Didn't hear what the cat block and hat block should measure before sewing them together. Help please.
Why didn't you just make half square triangles for the corners of the pumpkin?
Tori Bradford more math or cutting involved. If you used the 5 inch squares your half square triangles would be smaller than the others.
Brenda Nunya thanks. That makes sense.
Thanks for answering that, Brenda! It could be done, you would just have to start with a bigger size square to get the HST to be 5"
Just found this a year later. I actually prefer the practice one! Not into Halloween 😊🇦🇺
I don't own a wedge ruler, what are the dimensions of the point? Thanks!
I'm not sure of the dimensions but here is a link to the Simple Wedge Ruler:www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/5545/msqc/-/large-simple-wedge-template-for-10-squares
Isn't there supposed to be more than one page to the PDF?
Not always, it just depends on how in-depth the pattern is. :)
Hasn’t anyone noticed that she looked so much healthier when she was overweight now she looks very unhealthy, even though she’s lost a lot of weight
That’s what happened to one of my neighbors. He looks so young and he was overweight not by a whole much but then when he lost weight, he just aged.
