It is extremely difficult to loosen and remove the bolts that are deep and deep. I don't see the video about what happened to that part. The most important part isn't shown.
Hi, the headlamp rubber seal is worn and mostly gone. I have an Audi 2001 A6 ALLROAD. The water enters to the inside of the lamp. Some shops tell me there is no rubber seal replacement that the whole headlamp has to be replace costing thousands of dollars. Is there anything I can use (like a spray type of foam rubber sealant) around the lens that would seal it?

FYI You can buy aftermarket headlights with built in LED bulbs for under $300.
I looked into after market headlamps on Amazon but they didn’t look the same as what on the car so I was hesitant. And thank you for the video showing how to change the headlamps. At least now I know if I get one I can change it myself. I love that part. Something so easy they want to charge $1000.00+
I've done this before but, what w/ more and more of these "how to" youtube videos being posted, thought a refresher never mind a better way, might be in order. Informative/instructive video but I've never removed the entire headlight assembly on either side to get the job done. Perhaps the size of one hands makes it easier for some than others... emphasis on "perhaps makes it easier" as neither side was quick/easy.
Thank you it helped a lot. The damn hidden under screw was little hard to remove because i lacked the correct tools, but i didnt put it back so all cool :D
this audi has a circuit that wires pass near car's suspension, which is necessary to disconnect the cables to change the damper. What is the name of this piece
What is the name of this piece that goes on the headlights? The mechanic who changed my bumper, reversed polarity and burned them. The headlights do more movement up or down. Thank you!

I released all three torx screws, but i just can't get it out :(

pull it hard and it will come out.
there is a latch near side to middle grille.

Can you replace a bulb without removing the headlight unit?
Actually, yes, you can. I simply watched this as a refresher as to how I did it the last time, which as I recalled, was something of a pain in the ass. But removing the entire assembly doesn't look any easier. But I will be removing the air channel which makes access to the right headlight difficult. I'll leave the rest alone. Perhaps it depends on the size of your hands.
I simply cannot get this thing 😂 my headlight is ever so slightly off from the threading so I can't seem to get the third bolt.
