I was feeling his emotion, even though the countach never played a important role for me personaly, that's some true passion, that every car guy can relate to with his personal car.

In 1984, at age 15, I got a ride in a Countach. Cemented my love of them for life. The sound alone, at full throttle, while inside, would make buying one well worth the cost. I have gone faster and accelerated quicker since then, that was the ride that permanently turned me into a gearhead. I will forever love these cars, warts and all.

Such a falsehood. - In regards to your response I happen to own an 1987 QV. The best part of the car is the way the controls are imo. The car wasn't made to drive around a small town, its always straining at its leash. No harm taken, check out my channel. Some of the vehicles are on there.

As a teenager in the 80's, I did have a poster of the Countach on my bedroom ceiling, it was 8' long. It was the ultimate exotic. I remember in the summer of 87 I got to see one in person, frigging awesome. Great video.

Even original Countach the first thing people do is rip off the factory exhaust and throw some performance stuff on there. Dunno why anyone would keep factory pipes on there. Same with Aventador, Testarossa, or whatever V12 powered supercar. How boring to keep factory exhaust on there, just a complete shame not to hear an uncorked V12 ... and any of them, once uncorked, is going to sound heavenly. Old, new, doesn't matter once you let it flow freely, it sounds glorious :)

At 8 years old in 1988 I was introduced to Lamborghini with the Countach 5000QV. The first poster I hung on my wall was a pearl white 25th anniversary with white interior (euro front bumper and rear wing). Although i think the early 80's lowbody up until the 88 Countach looks the best I have a deep sentimental attachment to the 25th anniversary from all the hours staring and daydreaming to that poster up into my teenage years. I still have that poster in my garage today. It's a shame there wasn't a Countach SV. The only V12 Lambo model skipped in the configuration from the Miura forward.

This made me want to cry, brought back the memories of me as a kid dreaming and playing with my hot wheels, still have my Ferrari Testarossa hot wheel i had from the age of 2 (had around 400 which included lambos and such, my mom donated them all) and the memories of me playing with it at school and at the daycare came back with this video. Gonna try to become rich so i can buy a Testa and Countach and have my car collection, which is going to be full of Italian and Japanese cars lmao.

In 1990 I visited my dad in Germany, he had a nice Merc and I was sat in the back as he was moving at a fair clip on the Autobahn, as we crested a rise and the road fell away below us he pulled over to let a car past.
I don't even remember it passing, just its tail and the sound, I can't even be sure of the colour any more, I think it was orange, but the amazement I felt has stuck with me, it raced away from us like we were standing.
As a child the Lamborghini Countach was the only car on my wall.

A few years ago I was walking through a town in CA with a friend of mine. There happens to be an exotic car consignment dealership near the center of town. she was into cars as well so, being as it was closed for the evening we stopped to peak in the window. We were initially afforded a view of a row of cars from the side, and a few cars back, there was what looked like a gap in the row, except for the giant red wing sticking up. Walking around the back to get a better view there she was, a Countach, lower, and wider than everything else. In a room full of exotics from, some old, some new, there was still nothing else like it. There will never be anything else like it.

I agree. I'm torn between the super-smooth original and the 80's evolution.
Both designs definitely have merit, but the anniversary was a step too far.
The Diablo too was just pig-ugly, IMO.

Lamborghini is *still* riding on the coat tails of this car... kind of scary for the future of their business if you ask me. Then again the time of mind blowing cars that soar above the rest may be over, now that it's all just a 1000+ hp race for fastest 0 to 200.

I always preferred the 80-90's look on cars, generally in these kinda cars (I would say sports cars but i am not sure). The design on the newer ones don't attract me as much as the 80's cars do. I don't know sometimes if I am just complaining, or something bad happened. I wonder if it'll be the same for the next generations. I am 20 (just for reference) and I feel like most people around my age PRETEND to like this style.

Well.. I admit I had a red Contach model car when I was about 10yrs old, which I was proud to own... then my taste changed, perhaps became more of a purist and I took myself a little too seriously and started liking Lotus, for its simplicity and lightness.. I then owned an '88 Toyota MR2 that was kind of a nice balance between Elise's dynamics and Contach's styling, and yet reliable and affordable :)

Un auto icónico en los 80's. Creo que muchos tuvimos un poster de éste auto en nuestro dormitorio. Ése hermoso sonido del V12 es música para mis oídos y de la época en la que los super autos tenían transmisión manual, simplemente un hermoso auto

Passionate review. I was one of those future petrolheads that fantasized about this car. Had to settle for a gen2 Trans Am. At least I can fit in that...;-)

I like this guy just for driving that car hard the way it’s meant to be driven

I got to see one of these a few days ago come past the Asian restaurant I was eating at, he gave it the beans for sure, it was piano black or something... I dunno... shame I did not get a closer look. Moments later a Tesla P90D parks outside, it was red! :D Talk about contrast! And there I was with a lady friend eating chicken red curry! :D Looked like one of the later models, a few weeks earlier I got to see another Lambo, a Gallardo, think it was one of the later models, facelifted, black with gold wheels! :) Apparently there is a dealership around here that sell these kinds of cars, I had no idea! :D

Nicely done, at the 3:03 minute, the very scene that inspired Eurithmics biggest worldwide mega hit "Sweet Dreams are Made of This" believe it or NOT.

Goddamn that car is still amazing. Had that poster on my wall in 1989 and that was the car - the 25th, with all of Pagani's crazy ass visions finally in place. Gandini was a master, but Pagani as we now know is the artist of the new era. His cars are crazy expensive and when he suggested CARBON FIBER to Lamborghini as it being the future of cars - they laughed. He left and the rest is history.
