For those of you who have been following me for a while, you'll know that this is a HUGE moment for me and something I've wanted for years. It's finally happened and I vlogged the whole thing!

He’s the cutest thing 😍 I know you probably didn’t know this but you shouldn’t actually put your dogs name on their tag because if he does ever get lost, and gets into the path of a thief, they now know the name of your dog which may help them sell him to the unsuspecting new owner. This is because it appears they own the dog as he responds to his name. Obviously it’s unlikely this would happen, but it’s just an extra precaution you can take :)

Definitely let him cry it out in the living room. I’ve been training for about 13 years and it’s much better to let him cry it out because it’s the same as when a baby cries. If you let them cry it out and take him out when he’s crying he will only start crying louder. It’s best to let them cry it out. For teething do a lot of cold toys or cold broccoli or bananas and that will help.
He's doing great in there at night time now! He even wandered in on his own yesterday for a daytime nap :D
@@ThoseRosieDays heck yes!! You got this! The first year is the hardest because of the teething b if you can do it! Lots of cold chews help
I love husky’s they are my favourite breed but I don’t think I’d ever get one as they are big and I think I’d find them hard to handle I have a small family dog and he’s so easy to handle and doesn’t pull on the lead I was walking my aunties collie and she was pulling and I found it hard to hold her without feeling like she was dragging me 😅
They are incredible but so much work!

Not that I should have to explain my life choices to a stranger, but here we are.. One day we do want to rescue; now is just not the right time for us. Rescuing a dog isn't as simple as you think either - we looked into it and our experience and living situation isn't ideal for most rescue dogs, most of which have really specific and complex needs. Also, we've never had a dog before and so we wanted a puppy to learn as we go and give him (and us) the best chance at having a good life together. Puppies are in such high demand in rescue centres in the UK, as you probably know, and we were set on this breed which you will never see in rescue centre as they're so rare. Also re. the 'industry' you are referring to... we got Pablo from a family who don't breed to sell first, hence why we waited so long as there are very few litters that are available to potential puppy owners.

@@Galasaurus No you don't you just want to dictate what others can and can't do. Its not selfish to have a breed of dog you want. Thats why there are so many different breeds so everyone can have what they want.
