- 📝 A Note From Rouba
The key to making this dessert is to work the cheese over the heat until it becomes smooth and stretchy, giving it the perfect texture. If you don't have access to sweet cheese, you can use regular mozzarella cheese instead. Just be sure to soak it in water for a couple of hours beforehand to remove the excess salt.
Halawet el jibn is a sweet and delicious Middle Eastern dessert that's perfect for any occasion.
🥣 Ingredients

Delicious cheesy goodness. Yummy! 😋❤
Thanks for sharing. I’m so interested to find out how this tastes. I’ve got all the ingredients except the sweet cheese - I am just now debating whether to make it before or after iftar - watching you eat while stretching makes me think it has to be after!
Looks delicious 😋 Great job x
than you so much
MashAllah
sahten. that looks sooo good. could i use shredded mozzarella? or what cheese would be ideal?
you can use shredded mozzarella however if you don't have access sweet mozzarella, you will need to soak it in water for a few hours to get the salt out. most cheese bought from the supermarket is salty unless specified.
I’m your biggest fan Rouba 😍😍😍😍🙏
♥️♥️
The method looks so easy, it just seems to take some time to melt down by the look of it.
❤❤yummm what cheese you use
this sweet is both Syrian and Lebanese just like many food items are accross multiple countries and like many same words are used in many languages that are so different. That’s the beauty. No nationalism please.
Hi ... My mother asked, what type of cheese are you using?
Yummy need ingredients for that please
Which brand of cheese you have used?
we used sweet Mozzarella, the link is the description for the recipe,
That’s a Syrian desert from Hama not Lebanese lmao
🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧
I’ve never had much middle eastern food .I’m staring to question why?
Delicious 😊
It is a Syrian dessert, not a Lebanese one🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
„Lebanese“ dessert…
It is a Syrian dessert, not a Lebanese one🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
both. no need for nationalism. that’s the beauty.
@@CM-gz1if Why do you tell me that? Tell them they are stealing our heritage and mentioning their nationalism.
