I have not made it down there to camp...it is on my to do list about a 2 and half hour drive from my area of Florida, but it looks like an awesome place!
It’s definitely worth checking out! I’d recommend the Wild Loop campground as the sites are more secluded and spaced out. There is no electric or water hook up at these sites though

If I can recall the only sites in the Wild loop campground I would not recommended are the first few sites 1-6 or 7 since those don’t have as much privacy

Do you have to have any qualifications to primitive camp or can you just do it
You just need to have a reservation. I believe these sites are about $20 / night . The primitive campsites are in the Wild Loop section.
