I don't know if you'd personally want to do this, but I ordered contact paper off of amazon and stuck it to my desk top and I love it! So, maybe find a cute patterned contact paper to put on the top of the desk to cover the spot!!

I don’t remember the exact company, but I also wouldn’t recommend them!! I literally just googled “custom neon sign” and used one of the first ones that popped up 💀
