- Even many Christians believe the unborn are a subclass of humanity. Just as people once thought that a slave was less than human, people today think that an unborn child is less than human. If you stand against equal penalties, you are standing against equal protection. And if you are standing against equal protection, you are blatantly denying equal value. In other words, our nation will never truly protect unborn children until we stop protecting murderous women.

The sign that I hold that gets the most reaction isn't a negative or positive graphic image but the one that says "Abortion is Murder and Everybody Knows It."

@@jeannet7443 Right! Most people suppress it though, even pro-lifers and Christians. We all do to some extent. But, people love that sign, and the ones who hate it, REALLY hate it.
Pastor Joel, I also fell to the lie that abolishing abortion would never work. I feel deeply convicted on that point as well.

Exactly. This is why we are called to stand boldly in the truth. We don’t need to sweet talk people into knowing God- or, that what He says is final.
You’re absolutely right. I’m a Christian but before God saved me I had an abortion. I remember wrestling with my conscience. I knew it was wrong. I knew I was killing my baby for selfish reasons and yet I proceeded. I absolutely deserve the death penalty. I know I’m forgiven and that my heinous crime of murder was a laid on Christ who paid for it with his blood and life on my behalf but I want to help other women who think it’s okay because it’s legal to not be at ease with their decision because it is murder!! Keep up your very important and God glorifying work!! I also agree we need to lobby for the death penalty for parents who want to kill their unborn children. That mother and the father are the perpetrators not the victims. The child slaughtered in the womb is the only victim. I’m thankful and praise God for the work EAN is doing. If/when that kind of legislation comes to pass, I may be rounded up and put to death and that would be right and just. Of course, my consolation is in believing/knowing I would be with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ solely by the astounding grace and mercy of God. He has forgiven me. I also want to hold out the hope of the gospel to other women who have committed this crime. That they can have peace with God and his forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Praying for you all!!

You are correct.. I am 68 and in my 20s I had an abortion after having two babies.. I really have never gotten over it. I don't think I am supposed to get over it.. it needs to be a horrifying, disturbing act..that let's you never forget.

Exactly right! I think that's true for most sins. I certainly knew that I was sinning in my atheist years. Even as I tried to suppress the knowledge of those sins or compare myself with others, I still knew that what I was doing was wrong.
@@Abigail-gf7cg I would agree. But I commented that it is ULTIMATELY a heart issue. Rejecting knowledge of the truth is a heart issue. The heart exposes who we are.

Genesis 9:6 speaks to the topic of those who murder those made in the image of God.
It also comes down to how the church has begun to worship doctors and physicians and how the rest off the world does the same. Because we all, in our own nature, want things to go our own way, and if we can change who we view as our lord, the doctors and physicians in the case, then we can create our own happiness, our own world, our own morality, and we can get rid of the true morality that says, thou shalt not kill. After all, "God gave us doctors and physicians..." God did not, and it was god that willed that it be His fear that should rule over us, and that we would live in it. Adam and Eve stopped fearing God, and look what happened.
Most people worship doctors and physicians, and so, as a result of worshiping doctors by using them to replace Who our life, our health, comes from, human depraved nature comes in and realizes that the doctor is also human, and so, if human nature, sinful depravity can just change the doctor into whatever they wish, one that would willingly help them murder an innocent child in the womb, then the flesh can be justified and fulfilled.
The Word of God cannot change, and depraved human nature realizes this. So, man kind just tries to change what god they are listening to. The god of the doctors and physicians, who are not sensitive to the Word of God, nor are saved, or the God Whose Word never changes and calls us to live in His fear. Has anybody ever really examined just how much unsaved and saved people actually tremble at the word of a doctor and not at the Word of Holy God? Most believers even ignore God's Word because a fallible unsaved person tells them one thing that is popular, and that one thing is one way, even though there may be other ways of addressing the problem that would actually save the physical life of the person.
And if people dont or wont accept what I have just said, in that unbelievers and believers alike are about the same when it comes to worshiping the doctors and physicians, then just look at the pandemic and shutdown. The 98 percent of churches of this nation closed down because of the word of doctors and physicians. Nearly the entire nation, believer and non-believer alike, quaked and trembled, at the word of the doctors and physicians.
And it is that women are worshiped and helps in part to trying to shift the blame of sin being sin. I am reminded of how men are branded and condemned for watching porn, but when a woman has an abortion, then there is mercy shown. I am not saying this because pron isnt sinful, but that too many in the church, judge according to the flesh. A woman has an abortion and people will come along side and place an assuring merciful hand on the back of the woman, but a man watches porn, and its all now rigid harsh and condemning. Woman gets move and mercy, man gets punishment, instead of being taught how we are to walk in the Spirit and so we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Abortion is THE human rights issue of our day, if there must be war let it be to end abortion.

You should never marry someone that you are not attracted to.
But Joel and I say this because I do know a relative who told me years later of an abortion that she had in 1974, a year after Roe v Wade and then this evolution mindset that was so pervasive. She totally regrets what she did but knowing her drunk husband at that time that wasn't supportive and that she was also advised at 47 years old by her doctor of concerns for living through the pregnancy because of a health issue she didn't know what to do. I am just saying Joel, and I commented on this before with you, that if we are going all the way with a type of sentence on women that a war on porn needs to happen and all the sexual promiscuity policies in the culture needs to be done completely. There is so much a connection here. Go read Michael Kimmel's book on Guyland and the appalling view that college males have concerning date rape. There is a complete mindset that needs to be dealt with in the culture that includes evolution as well.
Excuses
A war on porn, contraception, no fault divorce, IVF, and sodomy are absolutely called for. Furthermore, the circumstances of each individual murder are dealt with differently during sentencing, less so during the bringing of charges. The main point is this: if we can justify in our minds killing an innocent defenseless child in the womb, then there is no form of murder that cannot be justified. This really is the Holocaust of our age, and while the things you mention are sinful, they are not a Holocaust.
@@robertmog4336 I don't know why IVF was thrown in there but I definitely see your point. Point well made. I don't like the idea that I lost a potential sibling either.
@@graysonbr Thanks! You lost an actual sibling if it was your brother or sister who was aborted in the womb. As for IVF, it results in the destruction of more "unused" embryos every year than traditional abortion does. There is an ethical form of IVF, one embryo created and implanted at a time, but it is much more expensive and rarely used.
