In the BeastCage, the tightening mechanism that is pointing towards your hand, on the grip, can be pointed any direction you need or want, even after it is tightened. You just have to pull it up and over.
I’m not sure what Polarpro was thinking. I bought the filmmaker kit for the 12 Pro Max and expected that I’d just be able to upgrade the case. The fact that the new cases don’t fit the Moment lenses and are also incompatible with their old filters is frustrating.
I just bought the Dreamgrip Evolution and it’s really good, great value for money, well built, not phone specific so can be used with any phone, and has tons of versatility - you should check it out
Thank you for making this comparison. I have been back and forth on iPhone rigs for photography. I ordered the Shiftcam ProGrip and it has been fine. It feels great, I love the built-in battery pack, and the cold shoe and mounting options. The 2 things that drive me crazy is the shutter button and spacing for lightning port. The shutter only seems to work with the native iPhone camera app (not Pro Cam by Moment, which is my goto camera app). Then the spacing for the lightning port prevents my from adding an external microphone. That’s not a dealbreaker, but the shutter button sync is really annoying
Will you be testing out the PolarPro for the 14? Have they reached out to replace any of the items you didn't have a great experience with? I've seen other reviews that seemed favorable for their products.

How is the mount on the beast grip cage for the moment lenses? The moment case I have makes the lens loose and bayonet on plastic doesn’t seem secure
