And that's exactly why I never feel overly comfortable asking you or any other pilot to slow down just for me. Although I would like it I don't want to be responsible for the crash
I appreciate the condolences, I'm in the too hurt to look at it stage..lol. You're right though it doesn't seem too bad. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Did that to more than a few of my few planes! The crashes help grow the repair skills you otherwise wouldn't have. Awesome flying and back in the air soon.
Great perspective! I should be a specialist by now. lol! The fact that its so challenging makes me want to fly it more and learn the wing. Think it will sit a bit until my heartache stops. Thanks for watchin and taking the time to comment!
Don't be nervous, it flies great with no bad characteristics. If you can fly the Freewing Gripen, the F-15 will be a breeze! Thanks for watchin and commenting!
Ouch, that hurts! Sorry for the crash! MiGs can be a bit slippery in yaw at times, but when they corkscrew that bad at low speed it's usually because of excessive nose heaviness (Which in turn makes recovery more difficult). Did you attempt to perform throttle-off deadstick dive tests to check for CG?
I have only flown it 7 times, and have crashed it 3 of them and recovered from the death spiral one other time. The first time it happened I thought it was the elevator servos. So I replaced them and the next flight it happened on takeoff. There are videos saying don't use the flaps so I wasn't the last time, unfortunately I had the same result. It's always in a left turn...... When I rebuild it I will give that a try. Thanks for the recommendation. And thanks for watching and commenting!
@@redbeardreviewsrc Hit me up when you get to it, and I'll try to assist you however I can! :) In the meantime you could check with the rest of your birds to get used to the test if you hadn't done it before. It's always good practice to evaluate the degree of built in stability (through CG-pitch trim coupling) in a setup rather than just taking manufacturers' word for it as to where a CG should be. They all too often recommend excessively nose heavy setups that often lead to this sort of outcome (assuming this is really the issue here, I could be off the mark). I'd probably also drop by the corresponding thread at RCGroups on this plane and ask the folks there what CGs are they using. You shouldn't take all they say at face value either, but it will give you a broader pool of data to pick from! Hope that helps!
Negative on the mods. Didn't know those were problems. Flew it twice with no issue. then the crazy stalling started. Probably because I was getting more aggressive with it as I flew it more... I still have the carcass, maybe I'll do the mods and try again. Too bad too I wanted it to be good so bad. Love the MiGs and Sukhois. Thanks for checkin out another video and leavin a comment brother!
Thank you for the info. I heard other people had problems with it as well. I would love to get an SU! Either the FMS or the Freewing, seems they both fly great! Thanks for watchin and commenting!
@@redbeardreviewsrc yeah man I have flown both, got videos up of both of them, the Eflite/FMS Su-30 is great. Carries its energy much better than the Arrows Mig
@@redbeardreviewsrc I hated Freewings Blue Box but they changed that in the newer Eurofighter, I just bought one. I agree tho, Freewind models are definitely not as reliable as FMS, Eflite and Arrows. I just bypass the blue box and haven't had issues
Looked great up until that point. I have taken some hard knocks too it never feels good. Thanks for sharing

Man that was sad seeing such a good lookin plane take a dirt nap. But you'll get her flying again brother! I have no doubt!

Good takeoff. Loved the sound. Sorry about the snake raper!
Is snake raper what that death spiral is called? Cause that is brutal! Thanks for supporting the channel!

Time to get American jets made in China.. the F15 is sick..
I agree. It is a much better flyer! Though a bit under powered at my altitude! Thanks for watching and commenting!
cool jet and flying, bummer it when down,i had a plane if you slowed down to much in a turn it would stall out and go down
Much appreciated! That's exactly what happene in this case too. Thanks for watchin and commenting!
Migs, F35s, etc. Making me nervous about maidening my Arrows F15A

@@RC4everGood advice, much appreciated! I might have to get the SU-35. Especially since you so highly recommend it. Thanks again!
@RedBeard Reviews RC It's on its own class! Too sad the jet's discontinued but still can find some here and there... :'(
Did you do the nozzle mod? Or take out the lead weight that’s in it? Flies much better with those two mods. Sorry for your loss. It happens.

This plane looses elevator authority all the time due to the small elevators... Which is why I love the SU27/30 much better as a model
