@hang10surferz gotta use a thick gauge hook to help keep it down. But even then it'll still climb on the retrieve. It was spring/ early summer when I filmed this and blue gills were on beds up shallow. I was smoking bass on the gilly weightless. Running it right at the surface like a wakebait and pausing and letting it fludder down
Thanks that wasn't wasted time good information
Twist lock hooks have always been my go to
Amen
I needed this short!
❤
I like weightless but they sink too slow. They almost float

Florida bass could care less about those things… I haven’t given up yet!
I have a 3/o is this still going to work
Should work great with 90mm version
And 2?
What size hook?
3/0-4/0
I can't get mine to run straight looks so good but runs sideways on a huge twist lock or ewg. I'll try this later ?
Something I forgot to mention is I'm wiggling the rod tip. just small rapid Twitches while reeling makes a huge difference in the swim
