Great video work on this one. Nice to see you had enough bottle Jack's to do the job. Laser level helps big time. I laid my entire hillside backyard with pavers and using the laser level. Cut y h e hillside out by hand as there were so many maple roots. Amazing tool. Thanks for an exciting video!

Has straightened out quite nicely and front wall lines up well with the roof of the house. So either both wall and roof are right or both would need to be fixed up. The first is less work, so let’s keep it at that!!

It may not be rocket science but i have work a few engineers that would have needed three jacks and a slide rule two jacks to get the first one out and the slide rule just to make them look like they know what they where doing. I'm not a big on the gardening parts but watch them anyways because it's part of your show

are you worried it will keep heaving. here frost goes deep. water lines 8 feet to be out of frost . we have put poles in 5 feet and they get pushed out. now some are 8 deep . hydro is about 6 deep

Hi Heather & Cecil. I suppose you wanted to do something different from gardening today. I can understand the fact that the frost has gone and the pole barn needs some attention. The Ford is in the middle, the front porch has been reintroduced, as you were thinking of building an all round porch installment. But the man macketh the hour, and you certainly do that. Take care. :-))

You had the laser level set up, why weren't you checking how much extra to cut the posts with it? I think you subtracted 1" on the first post you cut and didn't on the corner and third post, that's why it didn't work out the first time.

Every time I cut a beam with my sawsall, it cuts like I had a case and a few of beer, and 3 bottles of wine, with a few shots a jaegermeister. Every time 😢

I bet its the weird tapered saw blades they have for sawsalls. I'd like to weld a handsaw blade on the sawsall blade and see how that cuts.

You created your own problems with settlement by not finishing your roofing. The lack of settlement was undoubtedly caused by lack of weight. Five inches on the front wall with no weight involved should tell you where your problems lie.

  • @mikebateman8021

Allow the cleat you're screwing on leave it on screwed at the bottom and it will settle down overnight
