Thank you Italy!
Proud to be italian
And it comes with a TV on the side for outdoor entertainment 😉
Good God its HUGE!!
Looks like a beefy Piranha LAV I helped test in Courthouse Bay, NC in 1984! Semper Fi!
i wanted to see it from inside as well
I was a CM in the Navy, dude how many gear boxes? Now how many of those brake at once? I hope you designed the for easy of maintenance. 6 months down wouldn't be cool at all.
Take a shot every time he says 8x8.
Italians also made the Centauro and Lamborghini and Ferrari. They r good at vehicles!!
Centauro is also a Italian ifv
Sure, but does it have cup holders and a decent sound system?
Maybe good looking. Impossible to keep running. Maintenance is a nightmare
...how many wheels did it have again? ;)
Looks like an improved EE-60 URUTU
Sweden just order a couple of them as icebreaker for the froggy lake of Mälaren!
Designed and developed in Italy.
Yes good engineers , they make trucks in Australia and deserve a medal for doing it , to manufacture anything in Australia and succeed is a miracle as we have the most incompetent government and Unions in the world .
That is not true.
Vehicle is designed in San Jose, CA, and built in York, PA, USA.
@@webdesign4619 False
What BAE have to do with it ?
Don't tell the yanks ...
Outstanding ...but big as a bus!
Similar performance to the Boxer or not? (Except Amphib obviously)
no it base on Iveco SuperAV
and that vehicle is base on Freccia8x8
please add to Arma 3!
This is the Iveco Super Av 8x8?
Hi, It's based on the SUPER AV. Alain
DefenseWebTV ok thanks
Thanks for the video. Does anyone know the name of the Spokesman in this video?
John Swift
@@DefenseWebTV Thank you
Pq a Eveco do Brasil não constrói aqui
What a "bad" time for BAE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! can`t do anything without the help of foreign company.RIP to golden era of British Military industrial complex ! ! ! ! ! !
Hey dummy. ALL the military manu co-op with others...
How many times can that guy say 8x8?
Holy @#$$&!!, they have an Italian made combat vehicle... Said no one EVER.
Recce Sam as it was the previous one, the AAV7. Where's the problem. They make good stuff.
BAE just sell them, the vehicle is 100% IVECO
That is not true.
Vehicle is designed in San Jose, CA, and built in York, PA, USA.
@@webdesign4619 False, the Iveco SuperaAV just like the name implies, was designed by Iveco Defence Vehicles in Bolzano, Italy on the base of t he VBM Freccia.
It will be produced in York, PA only because the Americans are too proud to let another Nation produce its vehicles
It is a joint effort. The base is IVECO legacy design, however the vehicle itself is designed in the USA and built in USA. And, it is also tested in the USA.IVECO is obviously a partner and main supplier, providing most of the components.
@@webdesign4619 Again, no. It is designed by Iveco. Just because is tested in the USA, it doesn't make it an American vehicle.
Like always Americans want to take all the credit for foreign inventions
@THAAD BATTERY EXTRA RANGE Nope. The SuperAV was designed in 2009 by IVECO, an industry capable of financing its own work, but that for this project was also financed by the British BAE Systems. Testing was made in the US but it doesn't mean it's an US vehicle, the improvements were made by an IVECO team in the York facility (again no Americans).
Stop taking the credit for something you didn't make
It needs some 25mm, and maybe a TOW launcher. I don't think it has enough armament.
It comes with them, it has a 25 or 30mm leonardo hitfist turret with 2 spike missile lancher.
It now has a 40mm it’s awesome!
ITALY with the anti TANK top
Pq a o beco não constrói esse 8x8 aqui
Porque o Brasil não compra, poderíamos ter, mas os generais não querem, estão cagando para as forças armadas
Does this only have one 50.cal on top?
was going to have either a .50 or 40mm but today they let out the news that they plan on giving it the stryker dragoons turret with a 30mm chaingun
Is It Better Than the U.S. Army APC the Stryker?
Stryker is not amphibious
it base on Freccia 8x8 they even have a version with 120mm called Centauro2
Water speed? Water range? STANAG 4569 level?
Hi, We are busy to write the technical data sheet about this new vehicle. Alain
Thank you.
Glen Cychosz
It's all available for yourself if you get off your butt and look. Spoonfed much?
I did find this 6 knots in the open ocean, and has a range of 350 miles or 10 nautical miles at sea followed by 200 miles on land. I was unable to find the armor level.
achtungcircus AA
The EFV would shit on this when it comes to water performance. I was a driver and technician for EFV-4 for a few years and I took it to 32 knots on water. This one would in no way come close to that unless it goes flat bottom with huge water jets.
but I think EFV is too complex and not as survivable on land.
So it's a 6x8 not 8x8
piranha, VBCI, etc... Why bother to redevelop what already exist?
this isnt a new development its based on the Iveco SuperAV.
Wtf. Where's the 30mm cannons?
Right this looks shit
We love Turkey people ❤️🇹🇷❤️🇹🇷❤️🇹🇷
so why is Britain buying Boxer , it's so confusing !
Mettez moi en 50 pour les fus et les tdm Avec 20 vhm en plus
Can’t say YATYAS any more.
thsee new marine vehicles seem way less capable then the cancled EFV. they should have re-offered that to the Marines.
but it was cancelled for a reason. in fact it should have been cancelled much sooner.
way too expensive to maintain and operate
VectorGhost it is supposed to replace LAV -25 not AAV7A1
I was a test driver and a mech for one of the EFVs, My vehicle was very reliable since me and my crew gutted it and then put it back together while eliminating potential problem areas which was mostly due to hydraulic lines rubbing and such. Also one of my crew members was also in the same aviation unit as me before we got in the EFV program so we took care of that thing like it was another aircraft. Management didn't listen to some of our inputs so in the end they bit themselves in the ass when it came to the final decision to keep the vehicle. I was one of three to take it to 32 knots on water and also the only operator to take it up a river.
@@zepter00 no it's the aav7
Vab 6 6
tshh 50 cal. The russian marines got btr amphibious as well and it got shit tons amount of weapons.
Hi, You have right but the current version of tracked amphibious armoured vehicle AAV of U.S. Marine Corps is only armed with a 12.7mm machine gun. Alain
and 40mm gl
Yes ,correct
I would imagine that a customer would be able to change the armament to what their military wants during the spec discussion phase of a commissioning/contract.
No one knows who is are who are not. Who are we to judge?

This is what happens when you switch from tracked vehicles to wheeled vehicles.

The Amphibious Assault Vehicle is a beautiful military vehicle, I want it to stay in service for decades and never need to be replaced by useless acv.
As a Marine it’s junk
Armchair Combat Weapons expert here, and I gotta say, not that impressed with this vehicle. Why cant American companies come up with something useful anymore? This thing has a ridiulously "bouncy" suspension, is under armed, and is just too big of a target. Dont see any real improvement over what the Marines already have. Kind of like the F-35....
This is a joke and a middle finger to the USMC. There isn't any compatibility with any other existing combat vehicles like the existing AAV which will ramp up the costs of repair and parts in the long run and it only has a marginal difference in sea and land speed. USMC deserves better than this. Mean while Chinese copy off designs from EFV and now owns the fastest AAV.... Budgets for USMC needs serious reviews
That's the age old problem of having the USMC budget tied to the navy's budget. :(
Copy of Russian Bumerang.. :D
Legio XXI Rapax basta, fai cadere i coglioni. Abbiamo capito.
VERY BAD
uae
LOL so bad that the US Marines are buying it
IVEVO IS VERY BAD MOTOR !!!
FRANCE HAVE PROBLEMS OF FIABILITY WHITH TRUCKS 8X8 !!!
