Located in Hunlock Creek, PA which is close to Nanticoke lies the Abandoned Remains of an Amusement Park called Croop's Glen. It was a small park located on beautiful grounds that featured a stream, pavilion, swimming pool and a few rides. Knoebels Amusement Park purchased some of the items once the park closed and they remain in operation today. Come with me as we see what is left of the once popular park. Enjoy the video

Hi Jp ! I’m sitting here today going through your awesome work and come across this one It’s beautiful listening to all of the nature sounds and faint snap of foliage under your feet as you walk, beautiful place I’m glad I found it. I do like to hear you talk too though you’re very good at what you do !!

You said you aren't a great speaker ....I disagree . I like the videos where you talk as you explore . You have a slow paced "chat " with us that adds to the experience . The park closed during the WW II years ? That's sad ...people needed something fun to do during those trying times I'm sure. A beautiful place full of happy memories from days gone by .....you did a good job of documenting it for us...thanks. (seeing the deer run by was a nice surprise ).

Jay I tagged you in decosmos post, didn't know you already did this. Love these old amusement parks, I would love to go into one of these places. Amazed at how all the roller coaster wood (I am guessing that's what that wood was.). Is still perfectly stacked. Stuck in time. An old deuce you can get parts for that anywhere. I bet a little tlc and fuel that thing would fire up. Drove those and the old 700 series 5 tons, never stop those things.

What a beautiful setting. This place must've been stunning in its day. Do you know if there is anything left here since you filmed this? I would LOVE a live stream from here if it's not too far from you. Again, it is such a lovely spot. Do you know where the swimming pool was located? I didn't necessarily see an obvious spot where it had been. I also really miss your voice on this! I hope it's still "there" and that you could do a live stream from this spot. My mom and uncles told me as kids they used to sneak into the park with the kids of the family who owned the park, during off season, and push the coaster to the top and ride around the circuit. Until one day the old man caught them. She said my GM and GF gave them whuppings they never forgot.
I used to drive by this place regularly, the main sign still said croops, but I see now it is rusted away.
