Wow, you film in an interesting perspective! And the street full of restaurants just near where I live.
If you're fishing for a negative comment, you win. It's not wise to drive on the wrong side while mentioning the previous dread that you'd never consider driving an electric scooter in China. Actually the E-scooter is the easiest, most convenient and cheapest to get to somewhere not too far. Also, if people driving on the wrong side of a particular section of road are getting too many, police informed by camara data will set up blocks and make fines.
Great video, i visited Chengdu few months ago. It was amazing experience, one thing i really appreciate that was the e-scouts/bikes had their own lines rather than sharing the general public sidewalk.
In Shenzhen, I would always have watch out for bikes and scouts when walking in the streets
