Lemme tell you, those of us who grew up in the NYC area/Tri-state area back in the late 70s into 80s were SO blessed to get the AMAZING music that shaped our lives. WOW!! I would never trade it!
Yeah I remember this . Summer and Fall 1982. I was 19. 40 years later at age 59 this songs brings back memories of the last few years of life before the weight of Adulthood came crashing thru. NYC in the House. A stable of WBLS, KISS FM & WKTU. No need to say more.
Jeannette Abrahamson no doubt those were the days Bx New York was on fire damn I miss those hot summer nights hanging out in front of the building eating pizza and Italian ices Damn......
This is one of those jams that I heard only a few times when it came out and then it disappeared from my world. I didn't know it's title or the artist but it stuck with me for like 30 years even though I never heard it again. In Los Angeles about October of 1982 they played it on KISS FM and KUTE 102. After a month I never heard it again. I was 19 with my first girlfriend Donna in my 1973 Capri. Good times man
