I believe it’s the quality of speakers not the size. I’ve heard big speakers that sound terrible, while on the other hand I’ve listened to smaller quality speakers that sound amazing, but very expensive. Add a sub and the required bass is evident
This awesome tune literally just popped into my head! I was 18 when it first hit the clubs and TOTP. It’s now Nov’24. Unforgettable times and memories of days, nights, weekends that will never be replicated again. Those were the days and years pass by without even realising 😩True of the saying..you only get one shot at it! One life, Live it…to the max, make it count and have awesome memories like this one!!! 💯🔥
BB when a song fills those spaces within you, you genuinely know that “this” is something special so naturally the song stands out much more than your typical listening choice.Adding to the fact no doubt that the word “special “ is an accurate descriptive choice word that automatically sums up the song. It’s a good and unique feeling is it not??
I was born July 21, 83 and I can still remember in the late 80s going to the skating ring with moma and her friends on grown folk night and the floor would be packed. Even the sideline. A sight to see at 5 and 6 years old. Michael Jackson thriller was the biggest thing too. But this song is a real real classic. 808’s and so much energy. The skating ring was like a concert. People rode around and blasted this. You had to be part of the world then cause if you weren’t or wasn’t born around this era, you missed out on the greatest time in world history. The world was so free and full of the vibe!! All the women were beautiful. Parties weren’t parties if this didn’t play at least 3 times. This was real club music. For all types of people, white, blacks, gangsters, d-boy girls. Funk and disco. This was it

@@londunfalls he was born in the late 80's if we he is 35 rn, so basically, he is saying that he likes the music 60's babies grew on.

Tania, not as long as we keep talking about it, it will always remain alive. Thank You sister
Straight timeless!! Cant make music classic like this since! Songs made nowadays you hear once and ur over it!
That intro has pumped me up for almost 40 years!
60, 70 and 1980 were my best years. SOS song Just be good to me. Love it
This is what the 80s sound like in my memory
One of the most killer baselines of the 80s
They are still the BADDEST GROUP TILL THIS DAY!!
One of the most memorable intros that ever preceded a track. Epic!
If you've never heard this on a huge set of bass speakers , you haven't heard this song .
Billy Ocean with all time favourite, CARRIBEAN QUEEN 8:15 min extended version. Mid 80’s
A classic to say the least. Love that vibe. Right up there with the rest of the notables!!!!!!
I believe it’s the quality of speakers not the size. I’ve heard big speakers that sound terrible, while on the other hand I’ve listened to smaller quality speakers that sound amazing, but very expensive. Add a sub and the required bass is evident
love you howard
80s was full of fun even here in West Africa.

People were so damn fit in the 80's.
No internet and cocaine everywhere.
The dance floors..
Lots of cocaine
Brilliant
We had too much fun...everybody hit the dancefloor for sos
The intro gives me goosebumps. The whole song is all tiptop memories.

@@dylankane6397 Very true!
@@bijoubijou6446 Hello Bijou
Hello Bijou, hope u r well and enjoying life.
This was it
Still her love this song brings back memory
The fact that this classic has been sampled over and over and over again is proof of its greatness!!!
Man, I miss Soul Train. All us suburban white kids got our taste of R&B on Saturday mornings - when I was supposed to be out mowing the lawn! I love SOS band. Have this on CD and play it in the garage all the time. Kids walking by stop and listen, so that tells you something right there!
06/7/2024 still bangin. FUNK FOREVER!!!
64 white guy who to this day still listen to this band and have most of life
