Great info'. Thanks as usual. :)
Thanks, this was a tough stream but hopefully a few good bits of info in there.
@@PhilPendlebury D Atmos is a little scary for me as I'm new(ish) to Nuendo. But it was a fascinating insight (as always!).
Great stuff Phil, this is just the info and lesson I needed! I'll be going through this in proper detail in the coming week. Thanks for your work here.
Thanks Adam, I hope it helps. There are some shoddy parts in this one for sure, when you make a mistake and it's live there's no going back... Haha. Any help needed drop me a line, I think you have my email. 🙂
Thanks for that dolby atmos for video at the end., waiting for that HTRF Session..
Coming soon!
Thank you, a very good tutorial. I have been looking for this for quite a while. Once again thank you!
Thank you Pindo, if I can be of any further help do let me know.
This is a brilliant video, thanks Phil 👍👍
Thank you ever so much. New one coming soon. :-)
Thanks, I learned a ton!
My pleasure. Thank you for watching.
Fantastic thanks for sharing!
My pleasure and thanks for watching.
Great tutorial thanks!
Thanks. Updated one coming soon. :-)
Thanks for the info Phil. I'm mastering a documentary in 5.1 for the first time and I'm ok with R128 LUFS recomendation levels about -23dB LUFS. My question is how to export this mastered 5.1 channels into Dolby atmos encoding? it can be done only using Nuendo 12 tools? Thanks for the support.
Thanks for the message. You can export ADM file but the encoding must be done externally. I am planning a follow up on this.
Hey Phil ! What's that sofware you're using @ 22:31 ? It's like a windows file explorer ?
Hi Vincent, It is Directory Opus: www.gpsoft.com.au/
It's a game changer to be honest. Could not be without it.

Would this work with the dolby atmos features in Cubase Pro 13? Thanks 😊
Yes. There’s some small differences but it’s pretty much the same.
thanks, one question, am i limited with objects ? coz i have a project with more than 200 tracks that i want to convert to 7.1 and from what i saw the renderer is limited to 128 objects
Dolby Atmos itself natively supports up to 128 Objects, (10 of which will usually be your Bed.) This is not a limitation of Nuendo but of the Atmos framework itself. So, if you have more tracks than that, you can sum them together before sending them as objects to the renderer channel, or route them to the bed. 🙂
@@PhilPendlebury yes i figured thats the case. grouped the tracks and made a bed out of the group track. thank you
@@angelite6027 I actually tend to make groups for similar items and then make an object for that group. I'll be covering this in the livestream coming up on Monday 28th. 🙂
Hey Phil, do you do online lessons at all? I've got to mix my first 5.1 indie movie and I'm a little unclear as to the best approach to do it in Nuendo. Thanks!
Mixing an Indie.. That's great to hear, congrats. And yes, please drop me line. I don't want to post email directly here but you can find all my contacts on the Linktree link: linktr.ee/everythingcreative or Discord: discord.gg/9y4RNtJDSv :-)
@@PhilPendlebury Ah! That's fantastic... Thanks so much. I'll hit you on there then and we could have a chat (whenever suits your schedule). Thanks again!
@@effectsworks2106 Excellent. Speak soon.
@@PhilPendlebury Thanks, Phil. :) I dropped you a line on your facebook page. Chat soon, Rob.
I have question about vst multipanner. When Atmos standard bed 1.7.2 track is routed to 7.1.4 Atmos bus Renderer we can see rear view. Why only 2 speakers are shown and called front top left and front top right? Why not 4 speakers and additionally the position is wrong in space/room. It should be in front not in rear. It not real accurate visualization. In
