You all might already do this, but I turn on ceiling fans to medium speed to help dry the floor faster. Between that and an excellent spin mop system, it makes floor cleaning quick and easy, which is a huge deal in this house with 9 indoor dogs...36 feet trotting around...floor care is nonstop!
YES, the fan tip is great! That is a lot of feet, I can barely keep up with our two pups 😅

As an upgrade there are microfiber flat mops that are spray mops and will spray the surface with a trigger on the handle
I started using the Bona spray with a swiffer mop a while ago. Glad to hear I've been doing it the right way!

Excellet information! I am new to cleaning and will surly be buying one of these and I have hardwood floor through out my house.
Thank you for this video. We ditched our typical routine and went with the Ecolab cleaner over the weekend. Our floors look great and we cut out some of our unnecessary steps.
I’ve used Bona for years, keeps the floors nice. Once in awhile I use Murphy’s Oil Soap with the Bona microfiber pad and dry it with a dry pad.

Great video and tips
One main tip for floors is to remove shoes at the door.
Also, I would ditch the chemical disinfectants and cleaners and simply use HOCL to kill germs naturally and use Method ++ cleaners.

Hi I have a wood floor and there is a sticky area and I’ve washed it with just water and when I swiffer my floor with a dry pad it’s still sticky in that area. Do you have any tips to lift up that sticky area?

Was just looking back at some of your IG posts for this - before starting the video: would this also apply to Parquet Flooring as well? I found your video on planks and it made sense afterwards re: Neutral Floor Cleaner - when I used just regular Mr. Clean on the floor, it was incredibly slippery with socks on afterwards.

Good question! Yes but bamboo flooring does not like moisture so I’m usually a bit more careful and will come through with a dry microfiber flat mop to finish.
So no Murphys Oil Soap??
Even Bons leaves s residue. Just use a cool water (preferably deionized water) damp microfiber mop or pad. Always vacuum first or sweep.

Tip never wear shoes in your house.
That definitely helps keep them clean! I always have a pair of indoor only shoes in my cleaning kit. Helps my back and keeps my socks dry 😅
Most of the dirt doesn't come off unless you actually wipe it afterward. The mop itself barely picks up 20% of the dirt. Whoever invents a mop that actually does its job of removing dirt instead of just wetting the surface will be a millionaire
Microfiber is one of the best fibers for picking up dirt. If you keep the mop head clean and rinsed it will pick up all most all of the dirt on the floor. To be sure the floor is clean I do a what towel test after. Example here - instagram.com/reel/Cx6anm-OLpn/?igsh=MTl0dmtoaXFuaGF2MQ==

Im sorry but Bona causes a buildup over years. I refuse to use it.
I’ve never had an issue with it. I will say they have a kinda confusing amount of products on the market. Some do in fact have wax or finishes in them that I definitely don’t suggest. The only one I like is the cleaner.
Did you get build up with the CLEANER?
