    Hey dude, Please make a detailed video on how to make a Transmitter and receiver(of audrino nano and NRF module) and its programming, I have watched your previous video on it but iam totally confused, please make it , or a simple Rc car which includes a single dc motor with servo (or instead of servo for stearing you can use dc motor😅), and this transmitter and receiver,
    Please Dude I beg you 😢
    Please reply if your are gonna make it 🥲

    Built one with parts I had on hand but ended up way too heavy so I need a bigger boat. Still had fun even if I had to fetch it off the bottom of the lake when it leaked. Only lost a $3 brushed esc.

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  2 місяці тому

      You might need to pick a smaller, more powerful (Brushless) motor and a lighter battery. This is not supposed to happen. How did you seal the lid and what parts did you use?

    Having never used a 3d printer I've always wondered what that outer ring that always seems to be around the party that's being printed. Is it some sort of reference?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  6 місяців тому +1

      It is a reference line used to confirm proper bed leveling before it starts producing the actual print. Super handy feature to keep.

    Does water leak into the boat through the impeller shaft hole?
    It looks like you put a rubber disk with a hole for the shaft, but how well did that work?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  5 місяців тому +1

      It leaks through the top because of my weak sealant ring. The rubber disk only slowed down the shaft movement, so I removed it. Haven't encountered more than a drop of water leaking through the shaft hole.

  • @owengrossman1414
    @owengrossman1414 8 місяців тому +2

    You can make leakage past the shaft less likely by coating it with the petroleum jelly before installing it.

      @joegroom3195 7 місяців тому

      @@MaxImaginationI think it has to do more with your retraction settings than wet filament. Try doing some retraction tests to determine the best setting. Need to also make sure the nozzle and bed don't have play in them and the belts are tight. You should be getting better prints out of that guy. Also, awesome video! Neat little boat! Glad you included the problems you encountered, it gives others a chance to learn from your mistakes as well. Going brushless might need a water cooled esc.

    Well done! I was surprised how small it was,very cute but capable looking boat. I noticed you had a lot of stringing on your 3d prints. You should probably play with your retraction setting and if your in a humid environment consider making (or buying) a dry box. You can build one for very cheap and in the meantime you can dry out your pla filament by placing it on your bed spaced up with something like Popsicle sticks and place a box over it with small holes on the top. Then heat your bed to like 50C and leaves for several hours. That should dry out the filament.

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  8 місяців тому

      Thank you, Asher! Yes, you made a good point there with what I should do to remove stringing, I'll try that! I'll also order one of those filament dry boxes. In the meantime, would keeping my filament rolls in a sealed box or dry rice work? Asking this since I do not live in a cold country to have electric blankets or anything of the sort. Cheers!

    Fantastic work, Max! Amazing little boat!!! 😃
    About the water leak, PLA isn't waterproof. What you can do is to paint a thin layer of epoxy over it, for example. And there are lots of other ways to make it waterproof. 😊
    BTW, a 20A esc should be more than enough for the 180 DC motor. I used cheap 10A escs on my WPLs with one of those (although they are probably brandless).
    Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

      @MaxImagination  8 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the tips, MC! I appreciate it. Totally agree, an ESC of a higher amperage would have done the trick. I may consider building a bigger jet boat in the future that is all brushless for peak efficiency and power.
