Wow it's soo awesome good job !!
Is it possible to make a super powered RC submarine? Amazing content as always.
I'm commenting for historic purposes
RCLifeOn hey simon i just got back into your channel again and it would be really cool if you made a boat that also flew like a drone just like the avengers hellicarrier!
I can’t stop laughing every time you slapped yourself around the face
“I’m crying inside but that’s fine, I always do”
I felt that.

This guy is best at everything. Sarcasm, funny, cinematography and that is not the best part. This guy is a genius engineer too.
No kidding

But he looks like a Walmart Mr. Beast
The chopper sound effect to the drone is amazing
tl tl it’s a real help stOpid
thats what i notice too
1:44 sounds like scratching of a record. It went perfectly with the beat
Had to listen to that 4 times to distinguish what was and wasn't part of the song lmao
"There's no chance of failure"
20 seconds later: "It's gonna fail like 99%"
wait, you have a set of two humongous motors and jets and you did not print a new hull to fit them both and shoot that thing to mars ?
Up
Weeeeeeee
Humongous what ?!
(Old ©an©er memories)
You nailed the footage of it in action, on board and from outside, really looked great.
Brings back memories of testing boats in the bathtub because it was winter... Nitro testing came to a real quick end by way of my mother with a wooden spoon.... Love your videos man...

Love the helicopter sound over the drone footage. That cracked me up 😂
A lot of effort has gone into all these different shots ect, you have my sub for that alone.
Your determination on these projects is something to be admired and duplicated by others. :)
The amount of failures you had on this one makes me feel better about myself. Thank you Simon, you have done me a service.
just bought my first 3d printer like an hour ago cant wait, love your channel and the creativity you put into it :)
I appreciate you taking the time to make this model and for sharing this video. Awesome boat and I can't wait to see that motor let rip!

It's so great at capturing the mindset of refusing to give up when the universe just keeps fighting back hahaha! :D

Excellent persistence and great video of final results, drone and camera work from the boat. Thanks for the effort in putting this all down on film.
There's just something not quite right about a person who makes a full size, 3d printed love doll of himself 👀
could also be vodoo related

Ye, it’s uh, a little different
Why not? There are plenty of good reasons to do it.
1-You could use it to try dresses and view the outfit from different perspective
2-You could put fake wigs, fake moustache and develop your hairstyle
3- Could be used in web meetings
4- When you become old, you will remember how you was.

Been following your videos for quite some time now. Very well done, your content is awesome! Thanks
Nice job on building that. You have a good eye for getting everything balanced and placed right. I used to create some of this kind of stuff in my earlier life and I know that things like this boat are pretty hard to get just right. It looks like you got things right on your first try. This thing corners so smoothly. It is so stable that you don't even put the lid on!

This is so relaxing thinking of all the problem solving you got to do to get to that beautiful product
There is a reason why they call the couplers “Love Joy”
Love them because they work and it’s joyous to surmount problems!
That intro is so creepy omg I love it 😂😂😂
I really like this jetboat. All your projects are awesome!
ahhhh man what a time you had... Glad things got worked out.... Keep up the good work :)
Every 5 seconds im like “ooh whos that back there?” And its the manican
Three words: *_Helical Shaft Couplers_*
You're welcome.
^^ This. Coupling two shafts perfectly coaxially is mega hard. You would have needed to couple the motor and drive unit outside the boat on a very well made set of mounting rails (that include fine adjustments), then glue the entire mounting system in as a single unit. That's why no one bothers doing it! You just use a non-ridged coupler that accommodates non-coaxial rotation.
How do helicals compare to rubber spiders though?
They can snap pretty easily with enough torque
I don't even own a 3D printer, but your videos are informative, entertaining and just a hell of a lot of fun to watch. Keep it up mate :)
Love your vids! Big hug from Portugal
You learned the importance of balancing and centering the hard way :D
I laughed so hard, all those quacks yet "IQ 200" xD
That's crazy! You did an awesome job dude! Thanks for sharing.
Those beautiful scenery drone shots are what put your videos a cut above the rest!
Hands down, the hardest part of making an RC boat is the freakin coupler.
For me it's the alignment that's difficult, couplers I can buy, but getting the two shafts spot-on is not easy.
it must be creepy having a lifesized you in your room at all times xD just staring
Great Video, Great work. Fun and interesting to watch. Good job bro
That's one of the most stable planing hulls on an RC boat I've ever seen! :D
So if the unicorn boat has now been painted black can we say that it's a rainbow in the dark? Dio would be proud.
Put a taper on your nozzle to increase thrust. For a reference, look at jetski nozzles.
or rockets ua-cam.com/video/D4SaofKCYwo/v-deo.html or afterburner nozzles
Nice video montages and creative ideas. You’re a boss bro and hands on just funny🤣 keep up the good work
You are funny and clever. So much fun to watch. Hope you get millions of subscribers.
9:54 wow that *is* fast
Try looking up "bellows coupling" those couplers are extremely tolerant to misallingment and also very rigid.
your such a cool guy with awesome ideas its nice to watch ur machines
The algorithm got me in 2020 :D Good stuff man!
Just so you know you do have what you need to make a centered coupler. All you have to do is put that coupler in the drill chuck. mount a drill bit in a vice and turn the part rather than the drill bit. Effectively turning you drill press into a hack rod lathe. Only thing is your limited to the size of your Chuck on your drill press as to how large a part you can drill.
can you do that whe you say 100 mph can you put it on the screen how many km/h
and when you say km/ you can put mph to the screen? btw good video
Du lager flotte modeller og videoer! Tusen takk! Keep it up!!

This is freaking awesome dude and nice video too. Thanks for sharing.
I want to hang out with you a whole weekend making 3D printed stuff
To drill perfectly centred holes with a drill press, mount the drill in the vise, and the workpiece in the drill.
Very well, you present your work in a very creative way
Insanely great work! Thumbs up.

Great work. I love how you show your fails. Just goes to show how much effort it takes. Funny as f..k also
Well done. Neat project. My dad had a jet boat from the time I was about 10. 19’ 1973 Carlson Glastron CV-19
455 Oldsmobile engine. He replaced the pump with another Berkeley pump don’t recall the mode numbers but it came from a drag boat that burned down. The pump on he outside or the transom was longer and a little lower and the pitch was adjustable. That gave us between 15-20mph from the more efficient pump and getting more of the boat out of the water. So from like 52-55mph to about 70-75mph. Then the engine was rebuilt with 10:1 forged dishes pistons and a large Crowler cam and the better of the iron head factory castings and it made great power and that got us to around 90. That engine lasted about 3 seasons of super hard running. Lots of people raced then at Indian Lake Ohio. But even with a much lesser engine it still goes 70s because of that excellent pump.
8:36 I'm pretty sure I've been to that part of Chernarus.
Hey man are you going to make an rc submarine? It could be really intersting!
I want to see that
they are pretty advanced.
The problem is communications. But maybe there are some ultrasound transceivers or something similar available that will work underwater.
@@johansundman8221 yeah I've heard about that but maybe a long rope (about 20m long) with the cable in it could be a solution🤔
@@anto_1446 yea sure but it would be limited to the length of the cable unfortunately. I think he should try the ultrasonic communications instead. It could probably be done with two arduinos, two ultrasonic transducers and maybe some amplifier module. Wouldn't it be awesome if he could receive some sort of image in real time from the submarine as he controls it and because it's controlled by an arduino it could just be programmed to resurface if the signal is lost.
..and it works AMAZINGLY well !!! BRAVO !!!
Awesome build man
What type of motor did you use for this project? I couldn't see it very clearly.
I was trying to figure this out as well!
have you ever thought of lifting the boat on hydrofoils so that the friction is reduced and you can fly it on the water?
Cool project. Looking forward to your next issue
Nice video of trip to water. Many camera angles appreciated.
"I.Q 200" 😂😂😂
pro* tip on the not having a lathe issue: Put the coupler in the drill press & put the drill bit in the vice. The drill bit will want to center its self.
*this is a bodge, don't blame me if the drill press picks up the vice and throws it into your spleen
My spleen!
Dude's got content....loved it man
Excellent video. The talent of this guy actually exceeds RC boats if that’s possible since it’s clearly the highest & best purpose for any human being. 😃
