Thank you for the visit, it was I interesting to see an area my wife and I were thinking about moving to, changed our minds and moved to southern New Mexico instead… Subscribed to see more, Stay safe out there.
Cool video. I have a believe it or not story I'll drop here. I was out hunting in the Bear Mntns in south central NM on the January archery hunt. At night heard muffled voices outside my pop up. Had not seen anyone around earlier, heard no footsteps approach, no vehicle had been anywhere around, was about 1am. Clearly could hear the voices but couldn't understand anything said. Then the voices started to fade, I heard a scream. That was it. Outside I could see nobody around. No evidence anyone had been there. The whole place had a weird vibe and hunting was pretty bad. Anyways, found the site of a plane crash kind of like you describe. I first saw one of the landing gear, found chunks of metal, then a wing. I climbed a small hill to get a better view for more wreckage and in walking around the edge found a memorial to 13 people who had died in a c-130 crash I believe in January '88 or '89. There was a plaque with all the names, description of what happened, pieces of the plane, vases and plastic flowers. Everything was in kind of disarray. Years of weather and signs of rodents had knocked things around. I straightened up everything as best I could and after a final look around left. No more voices at night.
That’s a great story 👍 sounds like a worthwhile experience… I’ll be looking that place up to see if I can find more information (those types of things peak a curiosity for me).
Howzit Wolfpac, absolutely beautiful, I use to live in Redmond and Yes sun rises and sunsets are awesome, In the process of getting my jeep wj in working order and mods to join you guys out there, thanks for the great video and keep doing what your doing brah, stay safe and safe travels brahda, hang loose see you lathas 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Very cool, I love your idea of building a WJ 🤘 Thanks for checking out the content and spending some time with me 🤜🤛🍻 I just looked into the Redmond area, looks like an amazing place to explore 🔥 Hope to see you out on the trail!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it 🤜 🤛🙏 I wasn't sure anyone would notice but I have been practicing the narration part, I'm also working on encompassing the whole adventure and not just the driving. Cheers 🍻👍
Great video! The frosted high-desert was surreal. The sky scapes were amazing as well! I've done a couple trips close to that area but have never been to the Crack in the Ground. So, it was cool to see. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub and thanks for sharing your thoughts 🤜🤛🤘it was crazy how the frost was on the trees… this trip was like stepping into a different world. It was nearly silent the whole way through, and with the haze we couldn’t see anything that wasn’t in front of us. Thanks for the support 🍻
Nothing… sometimes I prefer to go light and go fast, although this would’ve been the perfect place for it 🤷♂️ I wasn’t going to be extended (that’s where the FWC really shines).
Pioneer Chili Recipe: 1lb Lean Ground Beef 1 Bell Pepper 1 Jalapeno 1 Onion 1 Can Kidney Beans 1 Can Pinto Beans Salt & Pepper to taste 1 TBSP *Secret Ingredient: McCormick Garlic Ranch Powder 1 Package McCormick Chili Powder 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth Cook LGB until nearly done, then add everything else, then cook together and simmer 35 minutes, enjoy!
Most respectful people don't drive that close to the A6 crash site, it's a memorial that is sacred ground. Park a half mile back and hike to it. BLM will close that area if it's not respected. Tread lightly and respect our environment like you preach! Thanks
Of course brother and I wouldn’t have it any other way… we avoided many pieces of the crash in efforts to preserve its essence. I absolutely love this ground we walk on and preservation is paramount, but also for the person unable to explore now they have the ability to be with us camping in a place of wonder. As humanity we really need to consider all realities and not just our own ideals… I really appreciate your concern and thank you for sharing your thoughts with me 🤜🤛👍 I constantly consider this when adventuring.
Another awesome video guys! I just got done building my truck shell into an overland/stealth camper! You'll have to check out my channel! Keep up the awesome work man!

Cool, I looked it up yesterday after posting that. I think the article said April of ‘86. I could have sworn plaque said January but I guess not.

Nice video… not sure if you changed the narration style but I think this was your best narration …
