So happy I put a deposit down on an odg gen 3 26 the other day. Took awhile for them to be available especially during the pandemic and civil unrest in Socal. This will join my odg 19 and odg 17.
Now that I acquired my ccw permit the odg gen 3 26 has been to go to edc. The short grip conceals very easily on my Tier 1 Axis Elite with the wedges on the back, the claw, and being hinged helps alot. Back up mag capacity is why it’s my go to. The extra slide mass compared to single stack micro 9s is lighter slides is less snappy.
I was thinking about buying a S&W shield at first but it only holds 7/8 rds & this one 10 rds so I might go for this one instead, when I find one in stock.
I have a really silly question 😂 I’m looking into getting one of these not living in California , but the only one available is California Compliant. Is there any difference in the gun? Some places I’ve read that all it is is a 10> magazine capacity, but all of the 26’s come with a small mag like that so wouldn’t they all be Cali compliant. 🤔 I just need some guidance on if and what the actual difference in the gun is 😂 thank you 😊
How did you get the OG green frame in CA? As far as I know, that color is not on the state's stupid roster. The only CA legal Glock 26 is the black version.
Turned 21 this year got a Glock 23 right away and I wanted to get a second gun today (M&P Shield) but the shop that had them was upcharging cuz of covid ($800 for a $450 gun lol) but another shop, this was one of the only guns. I love glocks, and I wanted to switch it up, but fuck it I got it... CA so Gen 3. Cant wait to get it
I have a question. I don't live in California, but I understand that the state approves specific brand/model handguns for people to own. Do they allow you to modify the trigger to a smooth type, for example? How about aftermarket parts? I live in Ohio, so I don't have that problem. I put a smooth OEM G17 trigger in my Glock 26, but I don't know if I really notice a difference or not. I just don't think the ATF import restrictions on compacts and subcompacts make any sense, so I made the change out of defiance as much as anything else. ;) P.s. I shared on Baby Glock on FB
