I tried Dunbrack several times or should I say survived Dunbrack several times. It's crazy. I can get up there by coming up the back way on Chain of lakes trail but I will never do something as crazy as riding on Dunbrack again .
I think if I travelled that route regularly, I'd consider using the "Mainland North Linear Parkway". It goes farther in both directions and is car-free (though bike - pedestrian interactions have their own problems).
@Hamilcar_Stronginthearm That's exactly what I tend to do. I made the same comment in a video with a start point in Rockingham. The deal breaker was the idea of making a left turn on bike in one of those huge intersections. Pass!
If it could be better connected to the network. Looks like a prime candidate for a dedicated bike path. Intersection are probably going to have to be reworked to accommodate it safely. but it could be a good connector between downtown, and bedford highway bike lanes. which are their own issue.

I like NotJustBikes term "Bike gutter". If there's no separation and no protection, calling it a 'bike lane' seems a bit generous.
1:19 That was absolutely scary. I've been biking my whole life, but I wouldnt choose to bike there. Greetings from Amsterdam, 👋
@@alcidesforever Yeah, it's the first time I really felt it necessary to forward the incident to the police.
Thanks for the great video. Keep up the good content and stay safe 😊

@@NFvidoJagg2 I've started mapping out how to fix the lanes and it basically involves reworking the road as a whole.
