Thanks coach. Lot people get on the Loma train but don’t truly understand what he’s doing. Lomo is a master at getting to the blindside if his opponents. His baiting moves are top notch. It’s like his opponents can’t resist do to boxing muscle memory 🤷🏾‍♂️Lol .

Coach Tom, thank you for breaking down the execution of one of Loma's signature moves. When he turned pro, this move gave him an edge over his opponents in the ring. Lately, however, his rivals have been mindful of it, and you don't see Loma use it as much as before. Nevertheless, it's a move every journeyman should master and incorporate in his strategy! Merry Christmas to you, your family and all the members of World Class Boxing! God bless you all! 🥊

Awsom job Master 👊🙏❤️I guess Loma uses the same Technic as Mike Tyson has been doing , using it in South paw stance

Shifting into Chinese cat stance (sitting on the rear leg) may be the fastest recovery when defending that...

DAYUM!!! How can we use Loma’s hand positioning tricks with the same handed fighter? As an orthodox boxer, I’d like to learn how to bait punches from other orthodox boxers just moving my hands around my guard

    • @averagemaverik5715
      @averagemaverik5715 4 роки тому

Shatdamouth BOYAH u could slip an orthodox right/back hand and move round to the left. Watch tom’s Tyson vids it’s similar to that, except Tyson switched from ortho 2 south a lot
      Another great video

Excellant video. very clear and concise and gives for the most part a beginner a way to learn to set a trap.Besides the actual physical moves teaches you to use your brain to set to set up a fighter. Gets a beginner to start thinking about ways to out think opponents.

Sorry for responding late. Xmas preparations. I do remember that on Sunday that you will upload another video.
Joe Rogan called a limited form of fighting. True. But what boxers do with their hands supersedes MMA fighters in terms offense and defence.
This sport needs more intelligence. Not just from brilliant trainers like you sir, but from boxers themselves. A little class can take the sport very far.
    Have a lovely Christmas 🎄 and a happy 2020:).🇦🇱🇺🇸

0:15 bait u to throw punches he want u to throw
    (with his hands)
0:25 bait with hands(lead hand low back hand up higher) to bait u to throw jab
1:05 slip jab to outside (dropping lead shoulder down back shoulder higher)
1:20 then slide and pivot or (shift n switch) to get n angle
To have lead foot at outside of opponent
    Then throw cross hook
1:50 even if he try get out I can still catch him with( long cross back hand )
Becz his respond when I get angle on him is to walk away to my back strong hand
2:25 I can throw douple lft hand too
2:30 proper mechanic /and proper reption (this is how to perfect it and every move )
2:50 slip just like twist (not getting head past knee)
Putting weight on front hip /then slide and pivot or shift n switch
By pushing off front leg /and making forward progress
3:50 I want move forward and get close deep angle at him
4:30 I can throw douple cross hand too
(And keep on stepping around )
The second rt hand I continue moving like (shuffle /same footwork as slide and pivot but without the angel just moving forward)

I was hoping more for information on the way of getting your opponent to commit to a punch you want them too. Not necessarily the actions to do once the punch is thrown.

1:04 I remember coach once said in the video that when throwing a jab while moving backwards, the lead foot moves first, but the guy outside the ring moves his back foot first . how come ? ?

He is dipping slipping, eyes on opponent..by going almost vertical trough (ducks) his knees while stepping out to the right or left, trainer.. that way he has more fast leverage. And he never slides backwards on one foot as most boxers do, he steps back in 2 motions, therefore he's never outta balance.Your student therefore looks a bit stiff..🤔 right or wrong?

Lomachenko does a whole lotta setting up but delivers very little meaningful execution.
    Wat say you Coach ?
Hes got a whole lotta window dressing n a whole lotta "opponents" super eager to quit mid fight due to having nothing more than hurt feelings.
