Dear Tom ( World Class Trainer ). You are just an awesome Trainer. Your concise, just a Great teacher, trainer and a coach. Will be sending you the clip of the challenge. Peace out From London, UK. Ashraf - Trainer at Boxersfitness Academy.
Hi coach. I’m a masters fighter trained by Fast Eddie Chambers in NJ. He said you and him have the Pittsburgh connection. We love your content and use it often during our training sessions. Thanks!!
Its Great how you remind the viewers to rotate feet and Kiante does a Great Job showing proper Foot moment with the correct form... Kiante does a Great Job with Jab as well... Good Coach and Fighter...
I’ve been looking for somebody to teach me these things for a long time. Always loved boxing but I just got the snot beat out of me against more experienced fighters ever day. I just wanted to learn and now I finally am!
Man, .. what a clarity of vison coach you are super good ...thank you for posting real deal , the make or break, the finesse that a boxer must posses, what great love and dedication you must have put into the "noble art of boxing". Best wishes from Italy
Nice drill coach. I notice how the sweet science of the punches go together with the straight punch get u close in distance to use the hook. A lot people don’t understand the the 1&2 punches is for long range punches getting close to your opponent and 3,4,5,6 or short range punches when u close to your opponent.
I've never personally had training by Tom but I would love to! He seems to be a great Mentor and Trainer based on what I've seen and who he has trained!
Hey coach, i started watching your videos. They are great, you are the real deal. I know you will have champions coming out of that gym, if they arent already. Good job, you are very charismatic, posses a great personality, and your highly knowledgeable.
Hello, I realy like your channel, amazing boxing analyses. I learn only through videos and yours realy helps my.. I have one question about work on tabs - tabs for jab and straight right are always farther then tabs for hooks which is oposite against heavy bag where is hook distance quite longer. Can you please explain this different? How to set up combinations on heavy bag correctly? THANKS 🙏
Thank you coach, At the early stages with my three boys, just having their first skills bouts, with your help they are starting off the right way, can’t thank you enough 👍
i practiced the same drill this morning. in addition to the step back we use also the 1/2 step back and also only the body back (in fighting). one more perfect. i share it but the big problem is that most of my fb are ladies. LOL .thanks.
Coach Tom always great videos a lot of knowledge being passed on to us other coaches and boxers. QUESTION for you, what PUNCH paddles are you using? I am about to get a pair and would you recommend exact same ones you have? Sincerely, MR.T L.V.N.V.
Stoic Sage you can throw the hook rotating on the front foot or keeping it on the floor. When in closer to your opponent and when wanting to throw multiple hooks you should keep it on the floor. Leverage comes from the ground regardless. You can get more power on one shot if you rotate the front foot as long as you don’t become top heavy and lose leverage from the floor.
@@WorldClassBoxingChannel thanks for the explanation and nicely demonstrated.. I now have a better understanding of the Joe Louis vs ramage triple left hook.
It’s about reality not preference. Most coach to stay on your toes but it doesn’t happen that way. Regardless, we always end up supporting our stance with heel planted. We do get up on our toes periodically, but we don’t fight up on the toes the majority of the time like we are often taught. It’s a subconscious act! It creates stability and limits fatigue! Thanks.

is it necessary to rotate on front foot when throwing left hook?.. I heard Joe Louis, Ray Robinson and few others have different way of throwing..
Stoic Sage I explain this briefly in this video. ua-cam.com/video/6GA_sWnndeo/v-deo.html

Is it about preferences when it comes about keeping your rear leg on your toe and not flat footed ?
