- Hey, so I got 2006 Toyota Avalon at the auction and it ended up having transmission issue, the problem was when stopping sharply it would have a kick. I believe it was on downshifting between 2 and 1 gear... added Lucas oil transmission fix, and it helped this time.

I’ve Tried It On My 99 Toyota Camry CE And Really Work..Thanks For Your Advice You Save Me A 160.00 Dollars U The Man.💪🏾😎
My Honda cr-v does that same thing your car was doing! I’m going to try that. Thanks
09 camry i4 here w/ 495k miles (original eng/tranny). Can't really go above 2k rpm or it slips. Gonna get it replaced, but in the mean time I will try this, nothing to lose, thanks!
THIS WORKS!!! 2000 Dodge Dakota. WORKS WONDERS!!!
Thanks repair Ed for taking the test drive before and after showing the symptoms of the transmission most people on UA-cam I've been watching people never show what it was doing before good content thanks
Should change your transmission fluid and filter before adding this stuff!
Waooo so Lucas really works ha. I have a 2012 Toyota Camry that Shudders at about 45mph. I guess I will give it a try
Do a drain and fill too....eventually....usually thakes 4L per drain and fil
Do you still have that car?Is the transmission still working?
Didnt you have an expedition before and u put in lucas as well?
Left the tab on the battery. But good video.
I had a Jeep XJ 4.0 with a leaking auto. I used this product along with changing the transmission with Penrite semi synthetic "3 x smoother shifting"
Well the shift ing was 3 x smoother and the leaking drastically reduced. Which did what I cant tell you but it was a drastic improvement.
Thanks for the idea! I supposed you don't have that vehicle anymore?
Maybe it was low on fluid? did you check to see ?
AMMCO has promotion right now when they put big computer on your vehicle to analyze your transmission! This is in Atlanta area! Check in your area! They cleared the codes which will not show up on your cheap code reader and now shifts great on my Dodge Caravan! They also printed out which two wires on my TCM were grounding out or getting power from another wire rubbing together in the wire bundle between OSS and TCM! AMMCO normally charges 95 bucks for this service but has a promotional right now! James
In my area, AAMCO only wants to rebuild transmissions or flush them, they don't do any small repairs
how is your car doing so far?
My trans slipped but worked except for 3rd gear put this in and now I have an 1/2 ton anchor zero movement not a fan so far
Is this will fix the blockage solenoid?
Does it work for transmission shudder?
U think it possible a bad engine mount
How long did it last?
When that happens it's a sign your transmission is pretty much going out for good.Time for a rebuilt or replacement.Lucas is just a little help for a while.
Yes I heard it well black and dirty and yes you should the change the transmission fluid before putting that stuff in the transmission
Quick question!
I have a 99 Chevy S10 & when I put it into reverse it makes a metal grinding noise. Do you think this product will work to resolve my issue with my transmission?
Yes 100%
Yes new transsmission
No, it's toasted.
Nope the reverse gear or selenoid is mess up I guess
Happen to me I thought it was motor mounts changed those was definitely the trans so added this currently trying it now before I have to buy or rebuilt my trans
Fred E Krueger did it work
is that in NY?
Pretty sure that the transmission fluid was low and it reached the optimum level when u added Lucas ..
Next time u should measure the fluid level before u add the additive
Check your motor mounts!
He added the Lucas to the tranny and the kicking stopped. Do you really think motor mounts would fix themselves after adding a transmission additive to a transmission?
@@SanProsan1993 that's why previous owner sold it.....Lucas only works minor slip....
I’m having the same problem with my
GMC TRUCK
Engine mounts are bad. That's the clunk.
Right
I have a 2006 Nissan Altima that slips and clunks do you think this will work?
If it slips and clunks most likelly it is shot already... I would try to put some lucas and see if that helps. Then just trade it in or sell it. Or fix if you are planning to keep it.
If it's a CVT get rid of it.
Is this Lucas transmission fix can be use to CVT transmission?
Nope.. dont...
Nope...Lucas does make a cvt fluid though. Not to help with problems...but who knows .drain and fill might help smooth shifts.
what happened with ford after few days still it not changed any thing ?
Nothing. But It worked in my toyota avalon.
thanks so much for your kind reply hahah actually am having Renault Megane 2007 model automatic transmission when am going 3rd to 4th gear sometimes it make a kick and flash check the gearbox and after restarting the car its becomes normal like nothing was happened maybe its from solenoid its cost much so i want to give a try to Lucas what ur suggestion for me ?
Did you try the Lucas?
waiting for it actually in Bahrain its not available i have approached one spare-parts shop they are arranging for me i will let you know after i get it
@@googgmai5987 Hi, did the Lucas worked for you?
You're supposed to take a quart out not just pour that in your blow seals and stuff
Yea I've seen other people say this online too. BUT you can read the Lucas' "Technical Data Sheet" for their Transmission Fix product (it's on their website/page for the Transmission Fix product). It says:
"One 24 oz. bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix can be added to existing fluid without draining" .
I've seen a website online say that it dissolves into the transmission fluid. So, I guess if you follow the instructions on bottle it should not raise the level of the fluid. I think the Technical Data Sheet has a little more info on use, than the bottle.
Some cars have a vent.
No true
Look at the computer ?
G( . Y . )GLE knows what we want. L( . )( . )K
thats the transmission speed sensor thats malfunctioning and not the transmission unit it self. You ruined the transmission by adding lucas now, dang
You are wrong... please dont share your opinion anywhere.. nobody needs it.
@@repaired2106 OK buddy I am wrong and thats why your transmission failed due to adding Lucas. Consider viscosity of fluid first chump
@@repaired2106 how's the trans now ?
Bad breaks
Brakes stop a car breaks are what you get at work every 4 hours. FYI
Useless video.... cuts after adding the fluid and then says it worked.... You could have just had it booked for a fix and taken it to the shop and back with 52 km
I dont have to prove you anything. I have another video where it did not work. I dont get paid by Lucas.
