- Explore the gritty realities of Khlong Toei, Bangkok. This investigative documentary showcases the harsh truths of poverty, crime, and wealth disparity in Thailand. Captured through stunning FX3 cinematography, witness the untold stories of the Khlong Toei community, exposing the dark underbelly of Thailand and violence while shedding light on the struggles and resilience of its residents.
This Documentary highlights the importance of telling real peoples stories, giving power to marginalised groups and breaking down stigma produced by mainstream media outlets.
This is an important film for anyone planning on or living in Thailand, to show you the real-life circumstances of workers running Bangkok.
Khlong Toei is not a Zoo - I highly discourage filming & making content within the community without consent.

Thanks for watching guys 🙏🏽 I rlly appreciate everyone who tunes in
Nice video, you did a great job here, and only one thing could be better if you lower the music level in the background, sometimes it was very hard to hear what you were saying, but keep it up
Hi I work with an NGO that formed out of nessisity during the beginning of Covid when we realized no one was helping the people in the slums.
And it has really grown from then
And tbe baby you met is part of clientele you were in lock 456 our home base they probably thought you were afflated with us (no shade) . we built most of the structures they were showing you.
Please reach out if you would like to know more about us.
No we are not afflicted with second chance but they are wonderful and have done much good.
If you are still in Bangkok would love to invite you to see some of our projects
bruh the sheer quality of this video is insane . a real underrated gem on youtube for sure . keep it up
Appreciate you a lot bro 🙏🏽

Appreciate that bro 🙏🏽 just gotta keep grinding it out haha

@@lucasredd6144appreciate you bro 🙌🏽❤️
Been working and living in bangkok +15 years and i been around Khlong Toei area many times..its like a city within the city with alot of good parts and some bad.
Over the years it transformed from that hardcore slum to a kind of cheap housing community and small villages for workers and family's.
and yes most of Khlong Toei is very safe..i would say about 85%..alot safer than almost any western city .
Amazing 🤩
Bruh . That was the most insane documentary I’ve ever seen. National geographic level storytelling and angles . You deserve millions of views
Thank you so much haha 🙏🏽 I’m gonna keep grinding
Another fine work of art bro. I knew it was going to be a good video when you told me about the concept, but I didn’t expect THIS quality. Keep exceeding everyone’s expectations brother ❤️
Love you bro ❤️❤️ thanks for all the support.
This shit got me teary-eyed (a little, I have had a glass or two of red). I love Bangkok and Klong Toei. Such a truthful piece of film. Every area, rich or poor, has it's bad people and/or "danger". But anyone who visits this beautiful community will most likely see the same thing that you have so masterfully captured in this short.
Not many people earn their subscribers through real content that comes from the heart, so for this, you have earned yourself at least one new one.
Thank you.
I appreciate you brother, thank you for taking the time to watch ❤️ Welcome to the channel! I'm glad you connected with this.
This is actually class. Loved the storytelling, the direction and the story you put out. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Would love to shoot with you!
Ayy appreciate you brother 🙌🏽 welcome to the channel! keep grinding
I am FULLY and completely extending my cheers to this channel - the content is VERY refreshing. It shows the real and true reality where and what happening in different parts of (one of the most popular tourist destinations) - the reality of life in ordinary citizens that are away from all the media that shows shopping centers only. This is called TRUE content. No fake things for once. I am personally very sick of the repeated showing of the "highlife" areas .. and nothing about reality.
I appreciate that so much 🙌🏽🤩 I’m really trying to just show the world, the good and bad - welcome to the channel!
I love it a lot bro, love how you were able to tell the story and their stories in the most authentic way possible ✨
Appreciate you bro 🙌🏽 thanks for tuning in ❤️
You so sweet Zak, Thank you for this nice content i really appreciate from what you try to communicated this to the world. Big LOVE from me here.♥

Great video, keep telling great stories.

listen man, I am Thai and I can reassure you that the worse people in BKK are never the poors...
100% agree brother 🙌🏽
I would almost go as far as to say the best people in BKK are of low income.
Loved the cinematography, very informative and excellent content! Best channel out there!
thank you random stranger! What an amazing comment to leave on a strangers channel 🙌🏽❤️
Best thing I’ve watched online for a while - proud of you man ❤️
Love you brother ❤️🙏🏽
Should I have the opportunity to visit Thailand, I'll see if I can drop by this place. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing 🤩 Welcome to the channel.
This looks great and you are a fantastic storyteller. But unfortunately the sound mix lets it down from being top tier.
Some feedback. Take it or leave it. Keep voice right down the middle, even if it’s a 2-shot I/V. We want the main voices right down the middle. You could use stereo mic to capture atmos if you really want it.
The music and atmos dominates your narration in the intro and at other parts. It makes it really difficult to hear you and you are what the viewer wants to hear.
If you want to feature certain atmos sounds, don’t speak over them. Let everything breathe a lot more. Not everything on screen needs a corresponding sound all the time.
Keep it up. You’re clearly talented at making engaging content.
👍
Cheers bro!
Thanks for using some of my footage 😉
Thank you bro 🙌🏽 you had some really stunning opening shots!
@@Zak_Saeed The funniest thing is that I've been following you for a year +/- and I found my footage randomly, if you want a collab next month I'm in Thailand 😂 great video.

Excellent video. I’ve been through a couple of times on a bike It isn’t a slum but a community. Totally safe. Thai culture at its best
Thank you! 🙏🏽 100% agree, I’ve never felt more welcome & accepted
So proud! May be my favourite yet.
❤️❤️
No matter where you go in Thailand, you don't ever have to fear physical assaults. That's because anything of the sort carries severe punishment plus huge stigmas. I used to live in Thailand and no matter where you go it's like that. People just don't assault people there
Yeh 100% agree! It’s very rare, and is defiantly ingrained in the culture!
Great context only downside was overlapping music could hardly hear the conversations because they are vital part of your material... lived in London and have been to Bangkok several times , I feel safer in Bangkok on any given day ... keep up the gr8t work m8t , remember there will always be haters !
Appreciate the feedback bro 🙌🏽❤️ audio design is so difficult to master, the amount of precision it takes to get everything to the correct volume & timing is nutsss - I’m learning every day how to be a better filmmaker to do these topics justice.
People will always hate online, but I’ve got so many people supporting me, the negatives just become noise!

Stumbled upon your video and loved the content. Video quality and edit was great. If only you had interviewed the people living there to get a better view of the living conditions from them. Anyway keep up the good work.
Thank you so much 🙌🏽 I appreciate the words bro, Oi (the women I interview right at the end) lives in Khlong Toei!
That's professional work
Appreciate you bro 🙏🏽
Shocked this doesn’t have thousands of views !!
Haha ❤️ I’m sure one day I’ll get up there
The sound editing makes this video unwatchable. Pure garbage.
go try and make a 5 second video as good and then open your mouth, but oups! you can't
Thank you Phillip ❤️🙏🏽
Grow up Phillip
@@edcurtis4455 Why? And be like you?
just a question about your process, your storytelling seems so thought out, how much do you plan ahead of filming versus filming your day-to-day an then putting the story together in post?
solid question bro, tbh I've spent years working on this - I'm still not entirely sure the best way to go about creating the story. Atm I have a concept idea in my head, then I'll go a shoot the film (allowing myself to shoot freely & not worry about direction) just a long as the main topic in being covered.
Then in post-production, I review all the footage to identify the natural story. There's always a natural story, even if it's not what you wanted. Then I write the voiceover to compliment this story, to highlight character arcs and to link each section together haha
The voiceover script, always comes out as a mix of personal emotion & how learning has changed my perception of something! anything!
The No.1 key rule in storytelling, is there has to be a change.
Hope that helps bro haha
Next level
Always Appreciate your support bro 🙌🏽❤️

I have walked there more times than I can remember, it is a breeze. Not having a go at this guy, but tired of all the videos branding it “dangerous”. Pure sensationalism
