    Let’s say you cleaned the card with those products, send it to PSA, they grade it and encapsulates the card. Will the stuff on the card get mold after some time, because of being exposed to moisture?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Місяць тому +1

      Good question. You won't leave anything behind. My spray and polish are removed and the remaining moisture will evaporate in just a few minutes. No mold.

    When you're wiping off the wax in one direction, should you not wipe in the other direction down? You'd think because of you wiping in one direction up, it creates an obvious difference between the top half that got some wax and the bottom half that got nothing?

      Definitely do the whole card if it’s dirty or needs it.

    Is like to see that yu gi oh 2020 ghost rare winged dragon of ra done with the polish. Almost al of them had vertical factory scrathes on the foil. Almost no psa10 due to this. Of thus would work on ghost rare foil it would be amazing

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Місяць тому

      @@andreas10617 that would be awesome. I do not have one of those, but it would be cool to take a look at one. If it’s a factory scratch though it’s probably a permanent deal unfortunately. But there’s always a chance.

    I’ve never graded a card but is this “altering” the card in anyway? Has anyone ever had issues getting a card graded after using this?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  7 місяців тому

      It’s a great question. I’ve never had any pushback from grading companies. I use PSA SGC, and sometimes BGS.

    Thanks for the informative video, how does the polish work for scratches on the back of cards?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Рік тому +2

      I’m so sorry I missed your comment. You can definitely use the card polish on the back of Cards. Just make sure they have a lacquer or a clearcoat finish. For example, you wouldn’t want to polish the back of a vintage baseball card. It will just soak it.

    What about the non-glossy part of the cards that has stain? Can the card spray on cotton clean it? I heard the care kits to not be used on non-foil surfaces.

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Рік тому +1

      I feel that the entire front and back is glossy on every Pokémon card that I’ve ever worked on. There’s a protective lacquer. I’ve never had an issue with any part of the card. There’s a few modern era Pokémon cards that you don’t wanna clean because they have some accents that can be removed. On my website I have a tab called best practices and I have it all laid out for Pokémon cards if you need to check it out.

      I couldn’t say for sure. I’m not exactly sure the issue. You can always practice on a base card if you wanna do some experiments.

    How does the polish take away the scratches?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  5 місяців тому

      It usually won’t when it comes to scratches. But if you have light abrasions, dirt or light play they clean up really well
