Oh an I think you did good on that Umbreon for price.. it should get a 5 maybe 6 if holo is clean.. I bought a delta species reverse Dragonite recently pictures looked good but I seen a small line on holo boarder thinking it was a print line got it in an it was small crease doesn't go through card even plus I got it on bid for $30 it's worth that damaged lol
@@TeamPokeColors It basically needs to be 60/40 front, and back has such a wide margin of error it's not even important unless back is really messed up.
My buddy has that centering tool only used it 1 time for a DBZ card at BGS but he pulled a 10 on it! Have you seen that pre grading app that came out recently? Gives a grade an tells centering from ya phone! Lol
I have a perfect card, but centering just like that gaslty. Could you check/calculate, if it would have still been psa 9 friendly? Or would it have knocked it down to an 8 purely based of centering?
i have no problem with centering. but with trainercards its different because the top of the trainercards got a plate, and if the bottom, right and left of the card share the same thickness the top is pretty thin then, how das psa handle this? if the top and bottom for example share the same thickness then both are much more thinner then the left and right, you know? how to check these trainercards then?
What are your thoughts on this grading tool?

I can usually eyeball for Psa 10s. Probably a good tool if going beckett and looking for black labels
Most definitely!
the latios surface was scratched thats why a 9
Off center cards can be tens if they meet the requirements of the other categories.
Yeah that’s true I forgot to mention that thanks!

Very informative video thanks dude ❤
I’ve never sent any cards to be graded before and I’m nervous about the whole process .. eagerly waiting to submit all my alt art cards thoo!
Get those babies slabbed! There’s plenty of helpful tutorials out there on UA-cam to watch
I found my binder full of 1999-2000 cards, hopefully there are a few 9-10s in the mix of 200+
Great video man keep it up, helped me alot. 😎
Glad to help! I’ve graded over 100 cards so I might need to make an update video!

Depends on if it’s vintage or a desirable card, next year I’m going to make a video about PSA
@@TeamPokeColors yes it's a 1st ed zard
@TheTaasien oh dang, grade it anyways then
@@TeamPokeColors you end up grading the gaslty yourself? What did it get
@TheTaasien yeah it got a 7 but if you have any zards you should grade no matter what because you don’t want to have something bad happen to it
Very cool 😎 thumbs up 👍
Thanks!

You check it the same. It can be off center up and down and/or left to right, either condition is still off center.
Your test card centering is not the issue. 55/45 is not an issue. Pikachu is more off centered than that one.
Watching now, thanks bro! Left a like as well!
Thanks!
This helps a ton big time, I just wish there were a way to make the grading stickers after we graded our cards xD
Glad this helps! I’m sure someone on Etsy has them😳
Sweet!
Very sweet!
