Rip to the kids who traded this card 🙏 can’t imagine what they will fell in the future after realizing they traded a card that expensive when they where kids lol😂 good job on the cards
I love that you did the video with your son! It was a wholesome video to watch! Man, Jake reminds me of myself when I was young! I had 3 charizards from base, one of them being a shadowless, and had all the pieces of Exodia! I remember selling the Exodia for Hundreds of dollars, and I was in Elementary School! I remember gaining the admiration of many adults around me! Keep up the Pokemon Journey Jake!!
Last year I pulled one of these from a check lane blister pack. I’m 22 now and I mainly play and collect Magic cards now, but 1st-4th grade was so much fun trading Pokémon on the bus. Crazy some of the cards I saw back then. I remember someone having a gold star Charizard on the bus. Middle school for a time we played the actual game more and built decks. This would’ve been 2013
I appreciate you sharing the story. I have a lot of memories of trades and acquisitions when I was a kid and a preteen. It felt like finding treasure. Hope all is well brother ✌🏼 Kurt
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with played condition cards, especially ones you get from trades at school. That’s just the way it is. They are fairly sturdy cards I think they will hold up. I have lots of WOTC holos I got as a kid from garage sales and trading on the bus. They all have their own personality and stories and you can see that from the wear in the card.
Just a few, there’s a few types of Pokémon cards with holographic, accessories, and sparkles and Poké balls and stuff like that. I find those are easy to wipe off with Card polish so be careful on those. I’ll point in the right direction. www.kurtscardcare.com/tcgcardbestpractices
Kurt. I bought your card care kit and I have a Pokemon card where the back has like a dot indent (sort of like a pen was pressed against it). How can I get rid of this?
I’m not 100% sure. You might be able to massage the backside of the card and possibly move that indent back into place. The material is so thin and rigid. It’s hard to do structural stuff. If you’re on Instagram, you can send me a picture.
So glad to find your channel and this product, can’t wait to buy when I get payed. Wondering if I can use the polish to remove a drink circle on the back of a card? The stain has been on the card for years so I’m guessing it’s a lost cause other than a regular clean up.
Hey Michael, thanks for the question. If it’s a light little swirl mark or a tiny surface line you can tone it down a little bit with the polish. If it’s a deeper surface crash it’s hard to do anything with.
would you consider coming out with something like a small touch up pen color matched to the blue borders? it wouldn’t be as nice as new but gets rid of that ugly white
I couldn’t, because if you want to grade a card paint would show up and would constitute it as altered. It’s one of those things I just accept if it’s missing.
@kurtscardcare ahhh, that's totally fair. I was more thinking for cards that won't be sent for grading but rather have importance, such as childhood favourite card. it hurts my soul knowing there's little that can be done with whitening haha
Hey Chris, I’ve worked on a few magic cards. The same rules apply, make sure you work on cards with a shiny surface, I don’t know every single material on magic cards so you just wanna practice on some base cards before you work on anything with value. If you’re on Instagram you’re welcome to send me a picture I’m always happy to take a look at it ✌🏼 Kurt
Sure, I have to pick a few up and I’ll do a demonstration. I have had customer feedback that they clean up really well and I think I posted a couple pictures. But I have not worked on one personally.
@kurtscardcare I was trying it out yesterday with the wax, yeah looks good. Still practicing trying to master your products. Next objective is to try alleviating dents and creases

That’s my card tool. It’s available in the kit or as a standalone at www.kurtscardcare.com
Does the polish fill in minor scratches on the back?

Have you worked on Magic: The Gathering cards? Have a card from PSA I want to crack, clean, and re-submit to them.

Kurt
Can you make a Video of a Pokemon Skyridge Holo Card removing scratches :)
You can’t remove scratches
@@OfficialSkankHunt42 Doch bei uns bieten Leute diesen Service an, da werden Kratzer teilweiße wegpoliert, aber das kostet Geld
can you do one piece cards please
