Growing up, they were an essential part of the sound in the 70s. That horn section was incredibly tight, and the vocal harmonies are killer. Now wishing I had a time machine and had the opportunity to see one of their live shows back then.
EW&F and this HBO concert was the pivotal moment that is wholly responsible for inspiring me to become a musician. I still play keyboards today-thanks to seeing Larry Dunn surrounded by them in this concert (I just bought my 12th synth today 😂)…

Growing up, they were an essential part of the sound in the 70s. That horn section was incredibly tight, and the vocal harmonies are killer. Now wishing I had a time machine and had the opportunity to see one of their live shows back then.
