This review was pretty solid! You covered every single aspect of the restaurant and highlighted all the important facts of what makes Gwòg worth trying out. Thank you, i enjoyed watching this video.
Hello Ruthy, I love watching your videos. I really hope to go back to Haiti and stay. People keep on discouraging me, but I really hope my dream will come true.
❤ Hello and thank you Yes I'm a Jem from your friend chanel Miss. Jemima 😊 And now I never miss your content I really do enjoy your vlogs. I just don't remember seeing you & your husband eating such yummy delicious looking dishes this is awesome and I cannot wait until you post your next vlog. Are you going to do HOLIDAY Vlogmis this year ????????? I think seeing how you guys do HOLIDAY would be amazing to watch. Have a great day and I'll be waiting on your next post. 😊
Hey hun!!! Thanks for watching! Whew Vlogmas is a lot 😅 I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do Vlogmas. I can barely post 3 times a month😂 I can’t imagine every day lol
😊💕 I understand but I can hope and pray to see you in December showing me some of what takes place there at holiday time. 🙏 You're doing Awesome vlogs I really do enjoy them thank you so very much.
Oooh you need to go to “Le Picolet” or Auberge du Picolet, also on the Boulevard, I believe it’s after Gwog; it’s run by 2 sisters & one of them is the cook. When I tell you the food is good lawdamercy 😫 I was in Okap at the beginning of this month, I miss the food so much.
Welcome to my hometown, Ruth. I'm glad you decided to be part of this great city, especially when PAP isn't a place to live. Actually, I'm here now taking care of some business.
Stop shitting on port au prince. Ignorant people like you are the ones that be telling false information about port au prince and Haiti in general telling people don’t go to Haiti. Port au prince also have water falls. It’s a really huge city and gang is not all over. Ppl are still living there selling real estate. Go about there business daily
So you heard me say pizza is authentic Haitian food?! I clearly said next time I go there I want to try something that ISN’T Haitian, like Pizza or something. That is what I said. Cause every time I go there I only get Haitian food & nothing else.
Yes, it’s safe for travel. There are lots of tourists here. It’s the main travel destination in the country at the moment. I think visitors fit right in.
I guess they won’t pick the most expensive thing on the menu lol. There’s lots of other options for far less. Most people don’t go to a restaurant & go straight to the most expensive dish😳
Looked good girl I will definitely try them when I go to Haiti again. I’m in newyork to get to Haiti it’s a 2 days travel to get there I’m praying God hopefully spirit will bring a straight fly from newyork to cap- Haitian ❤nice update on the restaurant great job girl❤
@@ruttyb can’t wait I went to okap in June girl I went through New Jersey to fortlauderdale then sleep over to okap the next day I hate plus I was with my 5 year old we stayed at beck Hotel the service was alright the place is beautiful. They need to upgraded the hotel though.
I think it’ll take some time for that to happen. But depending on the time of the Miami flight to Okap, it might be possible to come from NY on the same day. The NY flight will just be super early in the morning though.
I hope one day I'll be able to visit Cap-Haitien.
I hope they recognize you as the best Haitian vlogger in Haiti. Such great content
Thank you!!🙏🏾💛

We ate there while staying at the hotel. You’ll see it in my last Cap-Haitien travel vlog. The food was really good!
@@ruttyb awesome 🤩
@@ruttybcorrect me if I’m wrong but she is our permanent delegate to UNESCO now.
Always happy to see a new video. But that diri looks pat 😅. It might taste good
I’ve never had rice that’s “pat” at any restaurant in Haiti. I’ve been to lots of restaurants all over Haiti and have never experienced that.
Bonsoir et merci beaucoup
Soo excited for thisss 😭

Thanks! There was way too much going on for me to film our move. Vlogging would have slowed me down.
Authentic Haitian Foods. Really. Pizza.
Did you watch the video?
@@ruttyb this is the only way I could have known you did say something like this.

Lol thanks for watching! Sorry I just don’t want people thinking I would say something silly like that😂
Hey this is crazy! Is Okap safe to travel to? How do you feel about the general vibe of the city for visitors?
Yes, it’s safe for travel. There are lots of tourists here. It’s the main travel destination in the country at the moment. I think visitors fit right in.
the way that I have to be eating a platter of food while watching your videos is no joke😩🤤

I heard Sunrise Airways will have flights from Miami to Okap. Most of these hotels need to be renovated. They keep increasing their prices though smh.
@@ruttyb we need an airline in newyork same day arrival I will be in Haiti more often.

Hi. Do they take cards?
Yes!
The city really need to do something about this so called boulevard. Nothing to brag about.
Lol
You are right those restaurants make lots of money but don’t wanna invested nothing to this so call boulevard. I guess the mayor need to do something
There are existing plans to upgrade the boulevard. I suggest you get in touch with city hall to find out how far along those plans are.
@@509LM lolll me to find out 509LM
@@509LM There have been plans for the last twenty years and nothing gets done. City Hall can't even pick up the trash.
