Drain it, take the oil pan off and check the pan for the carbon build up. If you see any in the pan and on your crankshaft do a flush with 75% conventional oil and 25% diesel fuel. If it's 6 quarts use 4 quarts oil and 2 quarts deisel fuel. Run on idle for about 5-10 minutes.. you don't have to Rev the motor. It's safe I have done it to many cars/trucks the deisel fuel has lubricating properties as well. There are of course other ways to check for buildup besides taking the pan off but atleast you can see, and clean the pan
This is what i use deisel has lube properties and cleaning so its safer but for newer cars depends how dirty engine is use sparingly. And yes check your oil pan cause you realy need to get everything out to have best chances of saving engine.

Are you heard of head and shoulders is best friction test ? Same with soap. Those are maybe brake down fast than oil but who care about 10 to 15 min idle engine.
I bet degreaser is REAL GOOD for all the engine parts! If you had A sludge build up problem that BAD changing the oil more frequently and adding A product like MM oil would have been A hell of a lot safer!

Don't let this guy anywhere near your car. 10-20% of the oil capacity is not drained during a normal oil change. Leaving that amount of solvent in the oil over the next 5k+ miles will damage your bearings.

The main oil gallery, secondary oil galleries, oil pump, cylinder head with additional oil galleries to feed oil to all the lifters, cam bearings and VVT does not drain away. When add in a v-6 or v-8 with two banks and double the cams valves, lifters, and especially with turbos, cooler, etc, we are talking about 15+ %. I rebuilt my first engine in 1984 and helped rebuild my current engine in 2019, there is big difference. Do you have anything to prove it works and does not damage the engine. No, just have to take your word for it, right.

I let mine sit unplugged for about 30 minutes. My lifter shut up. And I built my first engine at 14 since we are comparing dicks. Sure it was an old Chevy 350 but, I said built not, overhauled.
Dude this is a water based cleaning product for like floors! This is not a product for cars! Oil flushes cost less then 10$ and wont do the harm this crap is doing! There are plenty of people in the comments of his videos that have recently done this and blown there damn engine!

Best way to have a customer complain about you is to do what they think is best but it's not remember you're the mechanic not them.

What does Awesome do to the seals and gaskets? Solvents tend to break these down causing oil leaks or necessitating major repairs to replace them. For example, if the rear main oil seal is compromised you would have to pull the transmission just to put in a new one. It's a cheap part but requires hours of labor and specialized equipment.

People the bottom line is you're not supposed to have to do a flush to your car if you just do your oil changes on time you have to do worst case scenario if you're going to use a flush being buying a new engine or try flush either way see where you ended up because you didn't do oil changes on time. The car was $30,000 and you didn't want to get $30 oil changes every 3 months
@@noodlezdotcom take a look at Project Farm's UA-cam video on it. He ran 10W30, a 10W30/Diesel fuel combo and straight diesel in an engine. After he strained the drained liquid there was metal in the strainer after using the diesel...
Use a good sludge buster oil like Castrol Ultra Clean oil when you change your oil and filter. When it gets black change the oil and filter and keep repeating this method.
Never do a flush. You can break off pieces that are to thick to flow through small oil channels and that can clog up the flow of oil. Then lack of oil will seize the engine. If you hear of people doing flushes and had no problems they have been very lucky.
No one needs cheap way to flush. The awesome you are using it's not petroleum based. So you can use dish wash in your oil then. You are doing it with your customers vehicles like experiment 🧪. I wouldn't go this cheap way unless a vehicle about to die and I don't care about it anymore. Where's your shop bro 😂, so I can avoid stopping by if I need an emergency oil change 🤣😝. I put some 15 40oil and motor flush in on an accident or idk because im not a mechanic and now i cant get the oil pin lose
That's not the oil pressure sensor that sensor is the low oil level sensor
Wash out ur bearing.... Water based...which water does not mix with oil.... But if you do this to ur engine...enjoy

Yes I find cheapest way to engine flush not need to cost extra 15 buck per oil change anymore so you can add asmoil oil.
