- Forza Motorsport Update 5 is highlighted by the return of the world-famous Nürburgring Nordschleife, an epic 20.8 kilometer track that is renowned for its challenging and unpredictable nature. Career Mode welcomes The Ringer Tour and 4 iconic Spotlight cars that are steeped in German automotive performance, and 4 new-to-Motorsport vehicles are also headed your way via Car Pass. Remember when gamers recieved a complete game at launch? Nowadays we are expected to praise developers for removing beloved features and then adding them back months after launch.
As someone wise said - back in the days you went to a store to find a game, nowadays you go into a game to find a store...

It's an always online game, no split screen, and disappointing career mode with lack of drag race and open field areas

Just played the Nordschleife at night. Best N-ring presentation in a game ever, the surroundings, the lightning it just looks stunning.

It looks nothing like Nordschleife... Try assetto corsa
The only problem are the floodlights. The Nordschliefe in real life has (I believe) very little to no floodlights at all. Driving at night is completely pitch black. The game interpretation has floodlights everywhere, which brightly light up the circuit, to decrease the difficulty of driving the circuit for casual players.
This update got my fps from 90 down to 55 😍

Excited for this update for the track and fixes. I wish the Car Pass brought more production vehicles. I hope a future update brings Fujimi Kaido and Tsukuba along with Japanese production cars like the Toyota JZX100 and Toyota Soarer and a drift game mode.
There wont be any added new track until April update they mentioned.

I miss Tsukuba and motegi! Since we already know they are drip feeding us old tracks and not doing new laser scan bs at all. They could just release every old track from previous games

This laziness is insane. The 2014 turbo s was in previous games. So has nears all the cars they’ve been dripping feeding us. This series is a joke now. I know from my friends in game development that they read all these comments. So keep bitching about laziness and they just might change
@@micego46 They won’t change. I’ve played Forza since the very first game came out on Xbox. Since FM4 it’s all been downhill. The cars, the feature, the sounds, etc. All they care about is making money on the game, not listening to fans.

I just wish the issue of framerates dropping extremely after two or three races on PC will be fixed soon. I have to restart the game every few races to be able to drive properly... and even though I turned off upscaling everything seems a bit blurred... we need that fixed too!

They don’t give a sh*t about pc. Forza 7 never got any meaningful pc performance patches.
Yeah, I can get through 1 career series before the frame rate halves for anything else.
Do tires still wear out and car becomes uncontrollable in turns after 1 lap of hard pushing in MP ?

None of this matters because you guys didn't release the car progression update yet. Until the car progression is fixed, this game is unplayable. You guys need to get your priorities in order.
Any stability updates for PC? Or just optimization at all? Running r7 5800x, 64gb ram, Readeon 7800xt and barely hit 60fps, and its not even stable at that even with lowered settings...

Same here, was fine before update, I had steady 82 fps in ultra now it's stuck at 55 if I choose "unlocked" If I choose 60fps then it hits 60fps it makes no sense
@@vapecat1982 yeah I was running some benchmarks earlier and the benchmark was able to hold a steady 135fps with a couple stutters, but once in a race it was locked at 55 💀 and then if I lock at 60 then it's fine. Still sucks I can't use the full capabilities of my CPU + GPU combo
At least they fixed the crashing when quitting events after a multiplayer race 💀
Guys please fix the HDR black levels in your game. The colours ain't poppin like they are supposed to. 🙏
The black level is spot on, so that's not the issue.
Excited for the changes, alot of work still to do but appreciative of the update... Quick question, will we be getting the Pagani Zonda and Zonda R At some point??? No rush..

I feel like a good addition for single player would be a track day mode, pick a track, car and weather and it’s just unlimited practice mode but with randomized cars
Been waiting for this one! Kinda wish they'd go more in detail on how their rendition lf the track sets it apart from others. Especially with ACC getting Nordschleife any time now, this is an iconic track with every "serious" sim trying to claim the crown for the best 'green hell' lf the lot.
Please please can we get a replay system for the middle of the race? Pressing pause and watching back what happend in different angles or photo mode mid race. As well as adding new camera angles like a Static Camera Angle

They add the 2021 or 2022 Porsche 911 Turbo S in this Forza and the Forza Horizon 5
Sounds a bit odd specifying replay saving "up to 11mins" - does that mean replays longer than that still wont be saveable?
They will be saved, but only the first 11 minutes

Why are flags everywhere directly on the nurburgring ? (not fans, directly on the side of the racetrack)
*Forza* - Please upgrade the car panels reflections on replay mode, the reflections of other cars are very blurry and unrealistic. Also, watching the replay of Maple Valley, there is a weird reflection of a upside down car as the car goes past the river/pond not too far from the finish line. Need to fix that bug!! 💪🏽👌🏼🙇🏻♂️

Thats nice. Nothing new to get me to want to play it again. .. nice that we keep getting race car events in multiplayer. How about some in single player .
This update has caused my game to lose steering on wheel and on controller I have no idea what happened. I was playing the night before the update just fine on career mode getting ready for this update and next morning after the update I can do everything else except steer the car on both wheel on controller..
Such a wonderful game has evolved, and with this latest update, I will be joining in to play Forza as well.
give us option to disable TAA or at least MSAA!!

I bought the game pass for a month to test the game. Now the most important track for me is back in the game, yet I don't feel like buying the game after the experiences I had. It's just sad to see my once favorite series diving from one low to another in the decisions they make.

This is no laserscan of the Nordschleife. Road is way to even, especially the Karussell and kleines Karussell 😭
While what you say may be true, the reat if the track might be better(but if you are right, it is still pretty bad).
it is also true than no game uses really High quality of scans in-game, even should those be available. Even a centimeter is not a big deal, when making tracks, and you know you can feel a few mils worth of a bump irl.
You are limited by the size of the game, aswell as the user devices. You could have petabytes (1000s of Terabytes) worth of Nordschleife depending on just how accurately it gets scanned/saved, and as far as games and sims go, inches and bigger rough cracks after applied smoothing and simplification and the like are "good enough". Most games cannot do anything with varied surfaces anyway, the tyre and the rest of the chain is not as smart and real like for that.
@@japanesecar1501 i don't talk about every centimeter but some keypoints should be realised in the game. You can jump at the exit of Karussell in real life and in Pflanzgarten 1. And both the Karussells should have been more rough. Only that would be enough for the game

Spectator mode and replay please. Also add drag mode like Forza use to have. This will add a lot more players and even people that would just watch. The next thing would be the penalty system. The current one is broken.

They said that cars don’t need to be leveled up before upgrading.. I don’t see it,I still need to reach level 20 to add an air filter lol.. where’s the update? Am I missing something here?

This is the first somewhat decent update to Forza Motorsport which actually improves the game. Although Update 6 couldn't come any sooner.
I don’t mind the recycled cars from Horizon because at least these are action new for the Motorsport franchise since they only appeared on Horizon which has a complete different gameplay.
But some choices like the ‘13 RS7 and the SLS AMG is just lame…(could you at least also added the GT3 version of the SLS?)
Why don't you just listen players? We want the airport that was in the previous part of Forza 7 and we want to play online Open Meetup
The last thing I want to use on the Nordschleife are 10 year old German roadcars... This is called Forza MOTORSPORT... When will there be a campaign with actual MOTORSPORT?
no, road cars are cool !! We call it: Touristenfahrten, which is only for road legal cars.
Impressive how the engine sounds are less realistic than in Horizon. And how it has half the content it should.
Sadly you added Mike high trees spot lights and you have taken sad paper to the whole track as it might as well be flat
Still on the fence about buying, probably just wait until it’s cheaper to buy and they have added most the withheld content back in.
