ringo's mom doted on her boy and the father was jealous and preferred to go out and party and not go home. After they divorced, he didnt bother to stay in touch. Ringo had a rough childhood in many ways but he lucked out with a devoted mother and a loving, kind step dad.

Liverpudlians are my favourite people in the whole world. The two years I spent living on Penny Lane across from the Dovey were incredible.
