It's been a long period of time since my last video!
This video will show you that you can now play with the classic usb wii bar in addition with Lichtknarre software. (not the dolphin bar. be aware!).
If you don't know how to diy, or you don't have the time to build a different system including a gun, the leds etc....

Hi there, recently I tried this setup and it was great. Some recommendation I want to suggest is the change to the calibration. It is too finicky to click on the offsets on screen when the calibration ends.
I would suggest changing the calibration to the one like the PS2 Time Crisis 2 whereby you just line up your front/rear sights then aim at the center of the screen. Offsets change to be adjusted by the arrow keys on the keyboard instead of clicking +/- on the screen, so that it's easier to line up the mouse cursor where you want it to be.

Looks like they are porting Time Crisis 5 to tecnkoparot as there is information about the game in the last update, who knows now we will be able to play TC5 with this system :)

Now that House of Dead Scarlett Dawn has been out in the wild and is more easily accessible do you think you'll get around to making tutorial vid for it similar to the one you made your Time Crisis 5? Thanks in advance for any helpful information.
Hi! I would like to do some tutorials but i don’t have enough time right now. If you are patreon: the configuration is the same as any other games using rawinput and the mayflash dolphin bar. The other solution is to use jconfig . It works with my gun4ir. I didn’t try with a dolphin bar but i think i should works exactly the same using dinput.

Great video, I’m pretty new to this. Is the tracking and accuracy better with a 4 point IR Led than a Wii bar? Is it possible to just use one of the 4 point IR LEDs from AliExpress?
Yes the accuracy is better. But the 2 points IR leds is also good enough ( just a bit harder to calibrate and you have to stand further away from the screen

It's a wii bar you can buy already equipped with a usb outlet.

Salut, merci. tu joue avec une dolphin bar en mode 2? ou tu utilises encore touchmote peut être? Si tu veux, Lichtknarre, c'est tout d'abord la précision (donc, tu gagnes surtout en plaisir de jeu) et tu peux configurer tous les boutons comme tu veux. Ce qui n'est pas le cas si tu joue avec la mayflash dolphin bare en mode 2. Si on compare avec touchmote, c'est la même chose sans les bugs et avec la précision en + =D
@@ginzuemulation9265 oui, barre mayflash en mode 2. Je vais voir pour trouver une barre wii + un dongle BT. Apres faudra que je revois tes video pour comprendre comment configurer tout ça :-)
Par contre, la fisheye, c'est obligé ou on peut faire sans ? je dois avoir 2 m de recule avec mon ecran PC (32")
@@manass94 2 mètres sans lentille ça fonctionnera pas. Sinon il te faut les 4 leds pour etre plus proche.
Is a bluetooth dongle still needed if I can connect my Wiimotes to my PC without one? Great tutorial :) definitely going to try this!
EDIT: I figured this problem out but Teknoparrot doesn't recognize the inputs from my wiimotes when I have this program running?

games that use Demulshooter like TC 5 does not accept this program, is there any solution for this?

Hi, is there any way to play light gun games on Sega Model 2 with Xbox controller? Now that Lichtknarre has an VGIEm plugin that can fake Wiimote as Xbox controllers, so my plan is to play with 2 Wiimotes + nunchuk for better aiming (Trigger button for shooting and Z on nunchuk for reload). But I was unable to make Sega Model 2 to work. For some reason, Sega Model set mouse as a controller for player 1 by default and no way to change it.
I was wondering how you make it work?

Hi i have doubt about china wiimote them working bad range with wii bar usb ,Cursor on display have warp or not correct position but when use them with dolphin bar everthing seem normal.What is issue china wiimote with wiibar usb ?
Better use original wiimotes even those that are second hand.

Hi, The left and right positions are reversed, with 2 or 4 leds, what could be happening?

Yes off course! Best precision. Also less input lag in comparison with touchmote.
@@ginzuemulation9265 in emulator dolphin the calibration is in the game. The 4 leds without lichtknarre would improve precision?
How can I use nunshock? Because I connect it to the Wiimote but nothing happen.
Hi! I don’t know if the wii motion + is compatible but in any case, you should plug the nunchuk in the wiimote before launching the software.
Geekonarium told me to tell you:
you can use nunchuck when you connect the nunchuck to the wii before connecting the wii to the application. if nunchuck not working try another one. You need to use the vjoy connector plugin to use the nunchuck input in emulators. In joy.cpl system window you can see the input of the nunchuck over the right controller.
You find a tutorial on the Geekonarium how to use the vjoy plugin with emulators.
Vjoy plugin also enables you to play multiplayer.

Everything works fine untill calibration, I calibrate exactly as the instructions said, but then at the end where it shows the mouse pointer so I can compare the pointer to the calibration, my mouse is fixed at the top center of my screen and does not move. When I open my vjoy device is the same, it shows the analog moving up. Don't know if its a bug or something I missed during the setup
Hi please come to discord and have some patient till someone answeres. You can get a testversion there, which maybe fixes your problem. This would also help us. Maybe you have an new unknown bug or something :)
We know from some Computers out there, that they have problems to read out the lens factor from ini file in the right way. this would be fixed in the testversion you can get from discord. Maybe that is your problem. This bug was documentated in the changelog on the website.
Maybe this fix will come as a hotfix-release also soon :) no date atm

Hey mate! How do I diagnose the problem(s) I have?
I can't calibrate right the remote. The cursor is ways off, jumpy, scattered and the like. Sometimes, it gets stuck on the lower part of the screen once out of the calibration setup.
I don't quite understand if or when
I should fiddle with the "Bad-LED" and it's framebuffer length options. The preview shows 2 nice light circles.
I tried different Wiimotes, different Bluetooth adapters and still cannot figure it out.
(It all works fine with the Dolphinbar, btw).

Hi, it's not easy to help you like that but with the classic wii bar ( 2 Ir points) you must stand 3 meters away from the sensor bar to get the right precision. The only method i know is to calibrate your wiimote using the mouse plugin. Then when you have finished, you should stand far enough from the screen ( depend on how many ir sensors you have), and aim with your eye well aligned to the screen.and check if the cursor of windows is well in sight

Truc tout bête, la barre wii officielle tu la branches à quoi? C'est pas génial de devoir rallumer la wii juste pour alimenter la barre
@@mryaggi salut. En fait, il faut que tu t'achète une barre wii avec l'usb. Tu dois pouvoir la trouver sur amazon ou ali express. Elles sont pas cher. Ne prends pas la Mayflash dolphin bar, ça ne fonctionne pas avec Lichtknarre.
@@ginzuemulation9265 merci. Dommage, qu'avoir une wii legit n'avantage en rien. Apres faudra que je veille au recul, avec les tv de maintenant on dirait que j'arrive pas à être assez loin (jai une inversion axe x)

Pour la wiibar, une fois configuré, est-ce que tu dois te placer exactement à l'endroit ou tu as fait la configuration ou tu peux te placer ou tu veux?
Salut. Bonne question, que beaucoup doivent se poser. Tu peux bouger de gauche à droite sans problème de précision. Par contre, comme je le dis dans la video, sans lens holder+lentille, tu dois rester plus loin ( à 3 mètres de l’écran).

@@root8able entre 1,5 x et 2 x la largeur de ton écran. avec mon 32" je joue à 1,40m , c'est parfait pour moi.

sorry, i had no success to assign axis buttons onto Jconfig using the program. i spoke geekonarium about that but at the moment i could not play this way with this game. If you own 2 mayflash dolphin bar it should work using mode 2.
