Just made this. Some tips 1. The size is alright as a small bun and it will rise quite a bit. 2. Could add more matcha (5g?) and vanilla. A little lemon juice or zest could also help it along. 3. The dough was super wet and i had to add about 10g of flour during the kneading process. But after i left it to proof during the hour, it was much less sticky and easier to work with. 4. 120°C for 15mins was just nice for me.
thank you debbie! old habits die hard...working in the industry makes me want to work quickly and i realize i should slow down and show people what i'm actually doing! cheers!
I made these yesterday and everyone loved them! Thank you for the recipe ~ I did have to add extra flour while I was kneading (I don’t have a mixer so I was low key dying trying to knead that dough haha) also I added a bit more matcha as a commenter mentioned and yuzu juice to the honey mixture, soooo delicious - be careful not to add too much though because the juice will just separate from the honey instead of combining together.
Love this vid! Where did you get your whisk? As for the noise from the fridge, you could reduce the hum or background noise on your editing software. Usually you can select the clip and select the audio editor and it should give you a few options that might work
i used all purpose flour! apparently canadian flour has a bit more protein in it in general so i don't bother with bread flour since i never have it in my pantry
Nice recipe, thank you. But please consider this visual stress... Using WHITE words, against a background of mostly-white marbletop, st st bowls, clear glass mixing bowls... Not so good.
AliceShinya grams and ml can be both used for liquid, it’s the same amount. As in 10 gr water = 10ml water. We use this kind of measuring in culinary school as well sometimes. Hope this helps
hey alice! in the industry we measure everything with a scale, even with liquids. certain things that are too light to measure in grams like salt and baking powder are better in teaspoon measurements. hope that clears things up for you! thanks for watching.
There's nothing wrong or off. It's you who is too lazy or ignorant to make sense of these measurements. Mind you, every matter had mass, and subjected to gravity, has weight. Liquids are matter too, so one can use a weight measurement of liquids too!
heyo!! thanks for watching! i agree the music was a bit too loud for this round, but if you have the time to look at the other videos i've posted, i have drastically lowered the volume :) it was my first video and first time giving it a go, so i hope you'll give my future videos a try ;)
PETIT NUAGE BAKES i watched the tea scones vid and say someone else commenting that you lowered the volume! I am very excited to see what else you have in store!

Do you mean adding vanilla and lemon juice to the dough or to the filling? Because I added some to the dough but I don't thing I should have OTL
I love these kind of cooking videos. It’s so calming when watching it. ✌️
I really like your tools and kitchen and your camera quality! also, I'll try this recipe tomorrow :)
Fantastic video. Your method of ball kneading is fast and unique.

Hi,
Where can I buy the whisk you used in the video?
Love this vid! Where did you get your whisk? As for the noise from the fridge, you could reduce the hum or background noise on your editing software. Usually you can select the clip and select the audio editor and it should give you a few options that might work
I love the whisk too! Could you please share where you bought it?

Can I use active dry yeast, after I bloomed it. Would it work the same as instant ?

@@lukekinsley6166 thank you kindly! Im releasing matcha cream puffs at 3pm today!!!
Awesome! I’ll check it!
What can I do if I don’t have an electronic dough mixer?
I've tried twice now to make the filling but it splits on me each time - all of the butter runs out and it's unuseable. Do you have any tips?
Where did you get your whisk?
the whisk was a gift from a friend who visited denmark last year! :)
What is evaporated milk
Is this bread flour or all purpose flour?
i used all purpose flour! apparently canadian flour has a bit more protein in it in general so i don't bother with bread flour since i never have it in my pantry
what kind of flour?
i use all purpose flour (i live in canada)
petit nuage bakes ok cool thank you! also i love canada!

Your measurements are way off. You use teaspoons, grams and then grams for liquid ? I dont get it why you dont use ml ? Very confusing

I like the idea, but the music is too loud and distracting
