inside out 2 movie review yeah

"Who is generating all of these positive-😑😑😑" -Anxiety
Only on the Internet could a 7/10 Pixar sequel be called a 3/10 just because the original was a 10/10, despite it being better than its animated peers.
Seriously, people have calmed down on Kung Fu Panda 4 since hating it in March, and will bow down to their Minion overlords when Despicable Me 4 opens next month, but they have not forgiven Finding Dory, Incredibles 2, or Toy Story 4 (and by extension Ralph Breaks the Internet or Frozen II) for bringing in loads of cash and racking up tons of awards and nominations.
Of course those sequels that you mentioned, "Finding Dory, Incredibles 2, or Toy Story 4" did really well for two major reasons.
1. The previous movies were huge successes so of course the sequels would do well. It's not like casual consumers would know if the movie was going to be bad or not. Especially if the original was so good, rising their expectations.
2. Before COVID-19, it was so easy for sequels to generate so much money guaranteed, but in a post-COVID world, along with disliked original animation movies, sequels don't do too well because people are bored and uninterested in being invested in franchises anymore.
@@DarthScottPixar's inside out 2 is a 9/10 if inside out is 9/10 since thiers no way to say inside out 2 is great to me it's just as good I've saw this movie 4 Times in theater and inside out I've seen 8 Times so I'll say inside out 2 is great
Jonathan from TheFilmDrunk the type of guy to put Hot Cheetos in the fridge to cool em down
type of guy to heat up ice because it's too cold
Lilpump gucci gang comments, i see it)))
This film hits different when your first few months of being a teenager were mostly spent in the midst of a world pandemic after just moving. Moves two days after turning 13 and the virus started four months after that so I never got to have that authentic teenage experience because it was spent in a mask being forced to be in my house because the government wouldn’t let us go anywhere unless we really had to. I would’ve really liked to see what Riley‘s teenage years would be like if she was in a pandemic instead of having a normal high school experience.
10/10 For And I Love This Movie In 9 Years
I feel like inside out would do great as a series as opposed to movies because it would be nice to see little short stories regarding Riley’s every day life with sneak peaks inside of her head
I'm happy to hear it's not bad. I really want it to be good and have been so nervous! Great review as always!
I’m also nervous.
I’m not expecting it to be a masterpiece like the first inside out but I hope the sequel isn’t garbage.
Plot wise it's kinda weak but other things worked in this movie. It's still a worthy sequel.
Inside Out 2 feels so much smaller. The "Sarcasm" and "Brainstorm" are great world building, but they don't work too well as roadblocks because they aren't really a result of Riley's conflicting emotions. They're just a result of Riley growing up/literally thinking! (In the first movie, the roadblocks were Riley as a person breaking apart). Good movie- that I wish didn’t try to copy the same formula of the first movie and would have expressed its strong themes in a better way. Great humor, themes, and world building, but bad plot.
It was Okay that the a plot was weaker because they also had a b plot of substance.
As a HUGE movie lover/fanatic and aspiring actress I’m so happy to hear Inside Out 2 is a good movie. ❤❤❤❤
as a heads up, your audio is way too low. youtube says its -17db. it should be -3 or higher ideally
Hmm weird I’m usually in range before uploading but thanks for pointing that out! I’ll make sure to triple check next vid
but if it’s audible, does it really matter? just turn the volume up on your device, right?
Great video! I've also seen it, and I LOVED it!
Thx for the review Film Drunk. I have been skeptical about this film since it was announced, but after what you said about it, I can rest easy.
I was a big cynic when I watched Inside Out, but this movie actually gives me hope for Pixar. If they can still do good sequels, then maybe it's not such a bad thing that they're only going to be focusing on sequels and spinoffs from now on? Eheh.. eheheh
My number one most favorite pixar movie is inside out and my second favorite is elemental 😊😊❤❤❤
You have interesting taste 😐😐😐
Watched the original as a kid gonna watch this as a teen.

not to be that guy but .......
Pixar lost their guaranteed money maker status in 2015 when The Good Dinosaur was a big flop
What about most of the movies after The Good Dinosaur?
Ok and? So what? That was years ago. Move on.

I liked Inside Out, but this sounds mid, so I'll just check it out on streaming or blu-ray later. I don't think it sounds worth seeing in theaters.
It's not. It's really great.
so instead of buying a ticket, you might buy a $30 blu-ray for a movie you may or may not like, and keep it in your collection? wha? lol
watching it in theaters is much better than buying a blu-ray lol you're wasting ur money
It's not mid, it's great
It's great
When i meet someone who doesnt like Inside Out, 🚩🚩🚩
Is it funny that im turning 13 on the 14th
I turned 13 seven months ago.
Happy early birthday
The Tree of Life for kids? The Tree of Life was terrible!
Ok 💀
The tree of life was nominated for 3 Oscars.
@@sha-quaanjackson7408 So? Personally, that means nothing to me. Oppenheimer and EEAAO won 14 oscars, and I thought those two movies were also terrible to average at best. It is all opinion, including the Oscars.
@@tonyg76 what are some movies you think are 5 stars?
@@mistahmata CODA, Silver Linings Playbook, Definitely Maybe, The Help, Now You See Me, Shutter Island, The Hunger Games, LOTR.
