Parmy, I have learned so many tricks and shortcuts from watching your videos. In the last few months I feel like my Daz studio tools have multiplied tremendously. Thanks so much for taking the time to create these guides even with your full time work! Now, these lights, I had never even considered something like this was possible outside of Photoshop. How handy!
So essentially, would it be possible to use this technique to make a stained glass effect, would it be possible to do this and have god rays included with the spotlight?
Thank you for the Tutorials. Being new to DS, they have been extremely helpful and alleviated a lot of head and heart ache. Question about the the "tiling and offsets" is there a way to have separate settings for the Disp, norm, and bump maps from the Base color in Iray?
Click on the map, next to the normal map for example, then click on image editor and then you can choose the tiling and offsets for that parameter only. You can get as complex as you want inside the surfaces tab. I'll leave you with this quote, "complexity is the enemy of execution".
Clear and easy to follow along tutorials you grace us with Parmy, Big thanks and shout out from Nottingham
Nice to know I have one UK subscriber from the Midlands.

Wow the possibilities with this are endless... thank you!
I could have spend a whole hour on this tutorial, however I kept it short to appease, the UA-cam gods.

Handy video, I love these effects.
hint; for a backdrop use a plane, Z positive makes it vertical, 10m is a good size.
Thanks for your tip. I am always looking to get better at my craft.
Great stuff, Parmy...thanks...

Awesome, thank you very much
Do you use "Comic Life 3" software for the layout of your comics..?
I use comic life 3 to layout my comics. It has all the tools required to make comics.
Gels are actually gelatin filters than sit in front of a light source.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
